Let me set the scene for you………………
It’s 5pm and after a busy day at work you suddenly realise you haven’t planned anything for dinner. You’re tired, your child(ren) is tired and the last thing you want is to be knocking a culinary masterpiece after spending 7 hours running around at the whim of your boss. You want something quick and easy, but still also delicious too. What springs to mind?
I don’t know about you, but for me, it has to be pizza. For a quick and easy meal either midweek or at the weekend, you really can’t go wrong with a good pizza, can you? Unless that is, you are like Olivia and me. Lately, we seem to be getting a little bit fussy and can never agree on the flavour. The result is 2 pizzas and inevitably some waste.
The Pizza Kitchen Range
I love pizza but I hate a big thick doughy crust. Olivia is the same. We opt for a stonebaked crust or a thin and crispy. Recently we have been introduced to the New Chicago Town The Pizza Kitchen Range. With 4 flavours including Garden Vegetable, Deli Pepperoni, Roasted Chicken and Cheese Medley all on Chicago Town’s Unique deli crust base with crusts that taste like Tiger Bread! With their generous deli-style toppings it sounds like a match made in pizza heaven never mind The Pizza Kitchen!
Family Meals with the New Chicago Town The Pizza Kitchen Range.
I thought the best thing to do was to round up some other family members to try these out. As pizza nights are one of our favourite nights, could Chicago Towns latest offering change our minds and become a new family favourite? First, I had to try not to burn them as is my way!
I have to say, from the moment they came out of the oven I was swamped. They looked absolutely delicious and I barely made it into the room with them on a plate before everyone dived right in! With some garlic bread, salad, potato wedges and coleslaw to accompany the pizzas, we had the makings for a perfect family meal.
They didn’t last long at all. Even the kids love the crusts! Olivia isn’t one for eating the pizza crusts, but as a huge bread fan the deli crisp base won her over. In fact, we all loved it and definitely agree it did indeed taste like tiger bread! Most definitely my new favourite pizza base that’s for sure. I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only person to utter “OMG, these taste so good”
We, OK I, enjoyed them that much I decided to treat 2 of my nieces to a pizza dinner after school. Kids are always hungry straight from school aren’t they! These pizzas with their delicious deli-style toppings, yum! are perfect for a midweek meal when you need something quick and delicious on the table. I knew there wouldn’t be a crumb left after trying them out myself beforehand. I even loved the Roasted Chicken despite not being a big chicken on pizzas fan.
They went down a treat, including the Garden Vegetable and Cheese Medley ones which we don’t usually go for. Personally, I love the selection on the Garden Vegetable Pizza. Spinach and broccoli was a big hit for me and again so generous with the toppings too.
We Love Chicago Town’s The Pizza Kitchen Pizzas!
I have to admit that it’s going to be tough to find a pizza we all like as much as The Pizza Kitchen Range. The deli crisp crust and the base are so light and enjoyable to eat it really adds something extra to the pizza. For a while now, Olivia has only been eating pizzas we make at home with tortilla wraps as she prefers a much thinner base. But she really enjoyed these and before we had finished she was asking if I could buy some more! High praise indeed from my fussy eater!
If you are looking for a pizza that is a little bit lighter, with a thinner more crisp base and delicious crust, then you have to try Chicago Town’s The Pizza Kitchen Range. With toppings, the whole family can enjoy I’m pretty sure these pizzas will be a hit with mums everywhere for a delicious dinner any day of the week!
Chicago Town The Pizza Kitchen range is available to buy now at most major supermarkets RRP £3
