Stur Liquid Water Enhancer Review
Stur Liquid Water Enhancer is a range of liquid water boosters that are lightly sweetened with Stevia Leaf extract and contains 100% Vitamin C. With no calories, no added sugars or anything these; these little bottles are just all-natural ingredients designed to enhance water to help everyone achieve their recommended daily intake. We all know we should drink around 8 glasses a day, but really how many of us do that every, single day?
I do try to drink more water but usually end up adding in juice. While it’s the no added sugar variety, there are still sugars present and ultimately drinking water ends up being not as healthy as should be.
How Stur Can Help You Drink More Water
Stur comes in those tiny little bottles that are handy to throw in your bag and take anywhere, and each bottle contains approx 20 servings, depending on how strong you like your flavourings. I’m of the pretty strong variety, so I probably wouldn’t get 20 out of it more like between 10 -15.
There are currently 12 flavours to choose from including;
- Boldly Blackcurrant Apple,
- Only Orange Mango,
- Goodness Green Apple,
- Clearly Cranberry Pomegranate,
- Real Brewed Tea and Lemon,
- Real Brewed Tea and Peach,
- Coconut and Lime,
- Coconut and Pineapple,
- Original Coconut,
- Strawberry Watermelon,
- Fruit Punch and
- Blue & Blackberry.
All priced at £3.49 each making each equivalent serving just 17p per drink! This is even less if you grab a mixed pack for £19.99. All the water enhancers are available to buy from the Stur Shop as well as from Amazon.co.uk.
What did we think of Stur?
I love the fact that they are natural. I wouldn’t be worried about Olivia drinking a lot of this each day. I really like the fact that each serving contains 100% Vitamin C. It’s nice to know you are getting some goodness out of your drinks, especially as Stevia is recognised for being a safe sweetener and a much better alternative to sugar.
If you are looking for something different to give the kids other than your regular run of the mill squash or reduce the number of sugary drinks you have, this is your product.
We received the Fruit Punch, Blue & Blackberry and Strawberry Watermelon flavours to try out. These flavours make up the new Berry Delicious Range that has been developed to have a sweeter taste. These probably wouldn’t be the flavours I would have picked myself if I am honest, so I was curious to see how they tasted compared to our regular brand.
What We Thought of the Stur Berry Delicious Range.
We both tried each of the 3 flavours to see which one was our favourite. I found them all to have quite distinctive flavours. For me (probably due to adding too much) the Blue & Blackberry and Fruit Punch were quite seen,t so Iusedg less for a less intense flavour. But I still found them quite sweet.
On the other hand, the Strawberry Watermelon was more subdued and didn’t quite have the other two’s intensity. I found I need more of it for a flavoursome drink, but this definitely didn’t reduce my enjoyment, and it is my favourite of the three. Olivia really enjoyed the Fruit Punch flavour, and I thought it was because she didn’t put that much in, the flavour wasn’t as sweet for her as I found it. We never agree on anything these days so it should have been obvious we would have different favourites.
On the plus side at least we don’t have to share!
The Blue & Blackberry didn’t seem to be a hit with either of us, but that was probably due to our own taste preferences rather than the flavour itself. I would really like to try these flavours though as these are ones we usually go for at home anyway, Boldly Blackcurrant Apple, Only Orange Mango, Goodness Green Apple. I think these would taste great!
Before trying Stur drinks, I’m not sure I would have bought them being £3.49. Still, honestly, after reading more about them and trying them out, you really can’t deny they are better for you than regular juice/squash, and they definitely don’t lack any of the flavours either.
So if you’re looking for something to pep up your water or for something better for the kids to drink (how many kids actually like drinking water? Oh, well, Olivia does actually, but she isn’t like most kids), why not give Stur a try!
