2020 has been all about the staying home, hasn’t it! As we are now fully into winter, for me and Olivia it has been all about the loungewear and staying warm and comfy when at home. We don’t go out much anyway but the last thing you want is to be stuck wearing uncomfortable clothes when all you want to do is relax, watch films and eat all the Christmas food!

I have to admit, these days I a more at home in trainers, leggings and huge oversized cardigans and Olivia is all about the big jumpers and hoodies. The comfier and cosier it is, the better as far as we’re concerned!

Femme Luxe Loungewear

Last Christmas (not the movie or the song) Olivia tried out some items from Femme Luxe. It was a bit hit and miss so when we decided to try out some Femme Luxe loungewear this December, we were pleasantly surprised.

The range of sizes has been increased and there was a much better selection of offerings more suitable for a teenage girl. I know the site is a women collection however it is great to see a collection that is suitable for younger girls who are in women size clothing too.

White Fearless Femme Oversized T-Shirt – Lily

We ordered the white t-shirt with black ‘fearless femme’ text in an XL as Olivia is a big fan of oversized items right now. I expected it to be around a size 14/16 however upon arrival it is more like an 18/20 and it actually fits me, albeit al little bit tight around the tummy area. But this was a nice surprise.

This t-shirt is in the loungewear sets collection and can be styled with joggers or leggings for a comfy at a home look or dressed up with jeans and heels for a glam daytime outfit

Femme Luxe Lounge Set

You can’t beat a nice comfy loungewear set. And this Camel Boxy Cropped Hoodie Cuffed Joggers loungewear set – Cailleigh from Femme Luxe Loungewear is great. It looks like a tracksuit so you can actually wear it inside and outside of the house and it looks great on her.

We ordered a size 16 but she could have got a 14 as the sizing is generous. Again, she likes oversized items as she prefers it baggy. One issue she isn’t a fan of is the seams on the bottoms but I like it and the colour and style really suit her.

Pink Ribbed Belted Loungewear Set – Aria 

This femme luxe lounge set is more like PJs is definitely one to wear around the house. My sister comes to visit frequently as she is in our bubble. This means she likes to have something comfy to relax in when we’re watching movies.

This set is a medium/large and upon arrival looks quite thin but really lightweight and comfortable. The top is more generously sized than the bottoms but they are elasticated so they have some stretch in them which is great.

Our Thoughts on The Femme Luxe Loungewear Collection

We were all really impressed with our items this year. As Olivia is in women sizes, it can be tricky to find appropriate clothing in her size for her age range and we were pleased to see she could easily order items from the Femme Luxe loungewear collection that is appropriate for her age group. All the items look great and wash really well.

One thing I liked was the materials used. In previous orders, we weren’t too happy with the material of some of the items but this year we didn’t have this issue and think the quality of the pieces is much better than we expected them to be.

I can see them being worn regularly all year round inside and out! Well except for the pink set which is definitely one to be work around the house only. They are all at a great price point and I can see us ordering more them during the year as the season change, especially now they have a greater range of sizes that fit our body shape better.
