As Olivia is getting older, she is becoming more and more confident in expressing herself through her clothing. She is finding her own style and what works best for her. We don’t always agree on everything but I think we have found common ground and whilst she isn’t needing to be wearing top designer labels or following any trends, I am finding it pretty easy to choose clothes for her now.

As she is quite tall – well anyone taller than me is classed as quite tall, to be honest – she is wearing ladies sizes and has been out of the children’s section for a while. At times, though it can be tricky to find age-appropriate items for her. I tend to shop around a lot and for her and buy from the high street as well as stores online.

This is a favourite and literally has to be prised off her sometimes! Big, baggy and comfy it is her new go-to when it comes to wanting something she can curl up into and relax in bed playing the Sims.

Who doesn’t love a full length knitted dress? This is perfect for those colder days and can be dressed up or down. Olivia pairs it with some cute pumps or her white Nike Dia trainers for a more comfortable day time look.

The Cream High Neck Knitted Side Split Jumper Dress is a little bit on the see-through side, Olivia adds a longline vest underneath but she is only 13!

Black Crop Loungewear Set – Deanna

Loungewear is becoming more and more popular don’t you think! It makes sense that pretty much everyone has some sort of loungewear in their wardrobe and Olivia is no different. She can change it up and mix and match without pieces in her wardrobe to create the ultimate lazy day at home vibe!

The Black Crop Loungewear Set is currently on sale for £16.99. Sizing wise, we found this slightly on the small side. Even my eldest niece found it small and she is a size 8/10. We ordered the M/L which should fit a 10/12 which is Olivia’s size.

Black Satin Babydoll Smock Swing Mini Dress – Alise

This dress is super cute but also super short. At 5″ 3, Olivia isn’t exactly super tall but this skims the tops of her legs and is definitely something that could be worn as a top or dress with tights.

She loves the flowing movement of the Black Satin Babydoll Smock Swing Mini Dress and finds it super easy to wear. I also find myself picking it up off her bedroom floor frequently as she rotates through 12356 outfit changes a day!
