Hands up who finds it harder and harder every single year to find the right products for Father’s Day? *Waving both hands in the air* Even though my mum has been with her partner for over 15 years he is still really hard to buy for. We all usually plump for the usual T-Shirts, DVD’s and chocolate combo’s. But then the lovely people over at Getting Personal.co.uk got in touch to help me out.
Personally (geddit!) I love personalised gifts, especially when they come from the kids. That being said however, we do run short of ideas with there being 4 of us doing the buying and 5 grand kids in the mix too but Getting Personal have some fun and quirky ideas to keep things nice and fresh.
Olivia now has some fabulous personalised gifts for not only her granddad but her dad too. We received the cheeseboard, pint glass and of course the chocolate bar. They all look amazing and hopefully the chocolate
doesn’t get eaten is a hit with her dad as it is a great alternative to your bog standard bar of Cadbury’s! As for the pint glass and cheeseboard. There is no scrimping on quality here, they both look and feel the part. There is a nice weight to the glass, not one of these one drop and it’s gone forever deals, it reminds me of a good old fashioned pint glass. Of men sat in the pub after work with a pint of mild putting the world to rights. The cheeseboard although compact is the perfect size for dad to treat himself to selection of the finest chunks of crumbly goodness, or creamy if he’s that way inclined. What ever his preference you can’t go wrong with this cheeseboard.
I have popped over to Getting Personal.co.uk myself and put together my picks of some pretty great, I think, gift ideas for dads. Whether he be funny, serious, sporty, into wine or chocolate or both there is something for everyone. This also goes for Granddads too. Also they have a variety of different postage options so even last minute buyers like me can get something pretty quick too, although not the night before/day you need it they’re not miracle workers!
