A Teal Kitchen Wishlist

a teal kitchen wishlist accesries including light shade and vases

Remember a while back when I posted my kitchen wishlist ? Well, since then I have been thinking about doing the whole house. Do you ever just get sick of looking at the same thing all the time? I literally want to rip all the wallpaper off all the walls and start again. But this requires money. Money I don’t have right now but we all secretly have an idea in our minds of how we want things to look don’t we. I may be a slight bit in awe of the people who achieve it though. Ever the procrastinator I am.

Currently I have white black and purple in my kitchen. And whilst I still love the colour I was thinking of going for a bit of a change. Still keeping with black and white I want another nice fresh, bright, new colour. I was thinking about teal. I have brown and teal in my bedroom but I love the colour and want it somewhere else in the house. This means I can’t obviously have the colour in two rooms, no, no, no. Decorating the bedroom is a must, but that’s a whole different post in itself.

  1. Wow! I love this. I usually do a splash of colours in my house too. My favourite place to decorate is my bookshelf because I organise books by colour. This reminds me, I *need* to go and buy some more coffee mugs. Preferably in teal 😛

  2. Great colour Tracey, and so easy to change without spending loads of money on wallpaper, paint etc – all things that would require time and effort too. It’s amazing how just changing the accessories can lift and refresh a room. I am particularly fond of the teal cushions, as I find that adding cushion is an easy way to accessorize. We have accessorized our grey living room with a range of yellow cushions – which works a treat. You’ve made me want a fit bit reading this post too – maybe a birthday present (I’ve just noticed that Jane also has this on her birthday list). Thanks so much for linking up to #fortheloveofBLOG this week. Claire x

  3. What a lovely post. I love teal and you have some gorgeous items on your wishlist. I am already coveting some of the things on the wish list…the ‘at work’ ones are a great collection.

I hope some of your wishlist items make their way on to your ‘I have them’ list!

I have just been watching the ‘Bullet Journal’ Youtube clip which you need a pen and nice notepad for…I think I am going to go for a Teal theme myself and nip to Homesense in the hope I can find a bargain A4 one!

I have put the Fitbit on my birthday wishlist.
