For those new to cakes that come through the letterbox, let me tell you that few things can fit through your letterbox with ease that are better than cake.

bakerdays letterbox cakes are 5 inches in diameter and are 2.5cm high. They come in a box with the cake sealed inside a tin. You get a personalised card and leaflet. There is no missing your delivery or having it spoiling at the depot while you arrange for collection.

The cakes are well secured (the icing covering attaches the cakes to a small board within the tin), meaning that they can sustain the drop when posted, and the packaging is designed specifically to allow it to fit through most letterboxes.

Whether you are sending a cake to someone else, or yourself, you can guarantee it will be delivered, and they can enjoy a slice as soon as it arrives.

Choosing Your bakerdays Letterbox Cake

bakerdays letterbox cakes come in different recipes;

Narrowing down your choice of design, however, is something totally different. Letterbox cakes serve 2-4 people (or one – no judgement here). you can also choose different sizes and designs to share with more people (again, no obligation to share is required here!)

All cakes are available in different sponges and a variety of designs. You can choose from a predetermined design and personalise with age or name. Or you can upload an image and add your own personalization on the cake.

Personally, I opted for an Avengers cake. We are huge Marvel fans in this house, and this year has seen us get super excited over some amazing Marvel shows and movies. Plus is was past my 40th birthday (Olivia made me my own Loki cake), and we had no other birthdays to celebrate. So I went all in fully Marvel.

Are bakerdays Letterbox Cakes Nice?

Absolutely! I mean, the sponge is deliciously soft, and the icing adds that little something extra. Personally, I am not a fan of too much icing and I typically only a little bit anyway, but the cake was perfect! I really enjoyed it.

Sure, the letterbox cakes are small, but they are ideal for a perfect birthday gift to a loved me who lives far away. They make great gifts to send for no reason (again, cake through the door instead of bills will always be a winner for me), or for occasions such as birthday party invites, wedding announcements (ask someone to be your bridesmaid or best man etc. with cake), a get well soon gift, thinking of you gift, new baby surprise or pretty much a random Wednesday in the week.
