Business Cards from Hobs Reprographics

The blogger awards season is upon isn’t it and we all want to be nominated, don’t we! Either in the MAD blog awards or the BiB’s or both, ps thanks for my MAD nomination. Also, there is the annual Britmums live event coming up soon too. With this in mind for those lucky finalists or bloggers attending a blogging conference this year have you thought about business cards?

I have been toying with the idea for a while but always thought, pah, what do I need business cards for?  Does a blogger really need business cards? I would imagine that anyone trying to run a successful business be it a blogger, or someone needing to work from home or anyone wanting to network. If you want to set up your own business from home as a mum, then you will need business ideas for housewives to see how easy it would be for you get started and put your skills to good use!

When I booked to go to @Liv_Bloggers first ball in Liverpool and I thought, hmmm, maybe I should you know, just in case?

Hobs Reprographics got in touch and asked if I would like to receive some business in exchange for an honest review……….. I may have waited a whole 30 seconds so I didn’t across too eager obvs before I gratefully accepted. My issue was could I actually design my own business card from scratch? One that would be instantly recognisable to my blog. So I opted for the same colours and theme with just some basic social media info on too. Get me, having my own business cards I feel like a right professional!

Did you know Hobs Reprographics are the only reprographics company in the UK to hold Her Majesty’s Royal Warrant of Appointment! With a branch situated on Watergate Street, Chester these guys are ideally situated for all your printing in Chester requirements, be it for a gift for that special someone, business cards or maybe you are a student in need of printing services? If you are a student you can also take advantage of a discount for student printing giving you 40% off and you can also get 20% off consumables too, all for just £1 a year. Have to say that sounds like a pretty good deal to me for £1!

My Business Cards from Hobbs Reprographics

Not bad for my first attempt at designing a business card I think. I kept it pretty simple with just my blog badge and a few details. The cards are a quality 350gm uncoated finish and have a really good quality feel to them. Even though I used the same colours as my theme online they appear more muted on the card so I think a note for any future attempts would be to go a shade or two deeper.

I like that I managed to get the same font I have on my header too. I would advise getting your design as high quality as possible to make your cards as striking as possible. I used Canva to create mine.

You can see what I mean about having a high-quality picture in the above image as the back didn’t quite come out the way I expected but again probably down to my choices of colour/font and the chosen design. All in all, I am pretty pleased with the quality of the business cards from Hobbs Reprographics and I look forward to handing them out/people asking for them/praying they don’t get thrown in the bin! If you are attending the Liverpool Bloggers ball I look forward to meeting you!

*Disclaimer: I was supplied with above items in exchange for an honest blog post. All thoughts and opinions are my own*

They look really good. I’ve still got quite a few from last year but I’m thinking of having a different photo on the back of each of mine again.
