This week I thought I would join in the the lovely Alice Megan’s linky Look In My Letterbox. It’s basically how it sounds, you get to have a little nosey at what people get through their letterbox each week. Well the good stuff anyway not the bills, if you want to see my bills I’ll show you but you have to promise to pay them for me 😉
So, what exactly have I had this week? To be honest not much. I was away for a few days and came back to a few little things. First up is my new detox box I am reviewing this month from Nutriplan. It is their 28 day bronze package. Strictly I got it just before I went away after my neighbours taking it in and we kept missing each other and I thought it best keep it until the holiday when it would probably be more effective! In 4 days I undone pretty much everything I have been working towards recently.
I also got a few little samples from recent sopost campaigns my facebook friends have been kind enough to send to me (I have absolutely no idea where they find them but I’m so grateful and if you know please let me know) I got some protein gel in lemon and strawberry. Apparently it hits your system quicker with no need for water just rip open and you’re good to go. I will be trying this out soon after one of my killer HIIT workouts in the kitchen, at least it’s good for something lol.
Next up is my sample of Benefit’s Instant Comeback. OMG! I love this stuff, like seriously love it. I don’t buy it but I have managed to get my hands on a few samples since it first came out and it is a little bottle of miracle liquid. Again another sopost freebie. I think I may cry when this runs out or force myself to actually go and buy some but at nearly £40 a bottle I’m not sure I can justify it.
And lastly is something that didn’t technically get delivered in my letterbox per se, more like my electronic letterbox, ok, ok it didn’t actually but the receipt did :/ I purchased LeanIn15 for my kindle. I actually have the next one on pre order so I thought I should at least try the first one out! I was going to get it in actual book form but the kindle edition was cheaper and I can get it on my phone which I thought would be handy if I forget my shopping list, which I always do. The book would be there to refer to for ingredients. I’m hoping I actually manage to do more than just read it and make some tasty meals from it. I already do the HIIT workouts regularly ever since my friend started raving about him and I became a fan too. The man talks sense but mid way through through a workout and soon as he says ‘burpees’ I would gladly throttle him. My headstone will read ‘death by burpees’ ? Please tell me I’m not the only one who struggles with them? They seriously make me cry/die/collapse on the floor in heap every time. I swear I have nightmares about enforced burpees for hours on end, hours and hours oh the horror!
So there we go, my post for this week. Did you get anything exciting?
