Win A Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Hair Care Bundle

Welcome to day 2 of the One Frazzled Mum 8th Blog Birthday Competitions

I don’t know about you, but both Olivia and I have the same hair type. Sadly, it isn’t the kind that you can leave to wash every week or so with a spray of dry shampoo in between. We have excessively oily hair, and we need to wash our hair every other day minimum. While Olivia’s isn’t as bad as mine, she still needs to wash it frequently, which can lead to some damage as she is forever using heat products to style her hair and putting it into different styles.

We have flipped between various types of shampoo and conditioners over the years. I remain dedicated to cleaning/detoxifying options. At the same time, Olivia flits between them along with a purple shampoo for her blonde highlights, and a repair shampoo for her split ends to help protect against heat damage.

So receiving a haircare package of Phil Smith Be Gorgeous products gave Olivia the chance to see how her hair responds and if it is any better than her current choices.

Phil Smith Be Gorgeous

The Phil Smith Be Gorgeous range is designed to give you the salon experience at home. All products are cruelty-free and use 100% recycled plastic that you can recycle after use. As the brand becomes more eco-conscious, they make more ethical and sustainable choices about their products without compromising quality and performance. Bottle sizes are 400ml, and prices start at £5 for shampoo and conditioner, meaning they are affordable yet still high quality.

Using Phil Smith Be Gorgeous.

We were sent the Bond and Plex Strength Boosting Shampoo and Conditioner and the Big It Up Volume Boosting Shampoo and Conditioner to try out.

Olivia has been using the Bond and Plex to replace her current damage repair shampoo and conditioner. Initially, she wasn’t too fussed about how the shampoo made her hair feel, but the conditioner was a big hit, and it left her hair with a beautiful soft shine.

Even after one wash, you could see the difference in how her hair looked. She is due to have it redyed soon, and I was worried it wasn’t going to cope with the process of adding more blonde. But Olivia is being careful about using the right products, and I can see the Phil Smith Bond and Plex will be a great addition to her hair care routine, especially now as she has decided on a career in hair care and styling.

But don’t take my word for it; you can see her hair and how healthy it looks in the picture below.
