The Swimming Adventures Ariel Doll
The Disney Princess Swimming Adventures Ariel is a water sensor doll, who moves her tails and swims in the water. Ariel is a much-loved favourite in this house. Along with dolls you can play with in the bath. My niece is much like Olivia in this respect so I knew she would love the latest offering from the Hasbro Toy Tribe.
With 2 sensors around the top of Ariel’s tail, she is able to detect when in water and automatically ‘swim’ in the water by moving her tail and fin. All you need to do is remove her from the box and insert 2 AAA batteries (not included).
Swimming adventures ariel is Ready to play when you are!
She is really easy to use and as there is no on or off switch, swimming adventures Ariel is ready to swim from the off. Unlike other dolls, there are no removable clothes or parts so nothing to be ruined or damaged in the water.
My niece absolutely loved having her in the bath with her. She went all kinds of adventures with Ariel above and below the water. Using a little ‘flip’ motion, as the tail moves it seems to push Swimming Adventures Ariel through the water to give the impression she is actually swimming. The more movement in the water, the more she swims across the bath.
All the detail on her tail really adds to the effect and each section is a different colour too.
A firm bathtime favourite.
Ariel will absolutely appeal to all fans of The Little Mermaid who will be able to reenact their favourite scenes from the film with her in the water. My niece is now 5 and it still completely captured her imagination with the doll recommended for ages 3+. She says she is the best bath doll ever and will be having her in the bath with her every time from now on.
