Summer Comfort with Hotter Tourist Sandals for Wide Feet
Do you ever struggle to find shoes that not only fit well but are comfortable to wear from day one? I really do. And so does Olivia. We both have wide feet, and even the standard ‘wide fit’shoes can still be a bit tight, restrictive, and uncomfortable. Don’t even start me on finding sandals for wide feet!
At the beginning of the year, I have been kindly gifted some Hotter trainers for my Sunday Walks. Then the pandemic restrictions kicked in, and before I knew it, there was nowhere to go to wear them. But the fact stood, that they were honestly some of the comfiest shoes I have ever worn, and thanks to being of a good size ‘wide fit’ style, they didn’t hurt my feet one bit.
Based on this fact, when I noticed a £25 Hotter sale, I couldn’t resist purchasing a pair of sandals for the warmer weather. I actually purchased a pair of Ripple sandals in rose gold and a pink Cora handbag. Whilst the Ripple sandals weren’t wide fit, they had multiple adjustable straps and elasticated sections to accommodate a broader foot, and honestly, I was not disappointed. Neither was Olivia, who wore them once and decided she was keeping them! The joys of being the same size shoe as your daughter!
The Hotter Tourist Sandals for Wide Feet

I was thrilled when a stunning new pair of Hotter’sTourist sandals arrived at my door to review. I am honestly a convert now and feel the need to be expanding on my collection sooner rather than later!
Again, I choose a rose gold colour (seeing the trend here?). But this time, the style was available in my size and colour choice in a wide fit. Let me tell you. It took 3.5 seconds from them arriving for them to end up on my feet!

The Tourist sandals come in 8 different colours and three size fittings: Standard, slim fit, and wide fit. The style features a fully open toe with an adjustable strap across the top of the foot and another adjustable strap around the ankle to keep the shoe secure to your foot. Boasting a contoured and cushioned cork sole, these sandals scream comfort and style and the rubber sole provides longevity to increase the sandal’s life span.
Have I sold you yet?
My Thoughts on the Hotter Tourist Sandals for Wide Feet.
I have managed to wear the sandals quite a bit now, considering I literally cannot go out much. Not only are they perfect for long walks, shopping trips, etc. But they are a great driving shoe as they are comfortably strapped to your foot, and the footbed isn’t too thick to cause an issue for driving for me. Other people may find this differs for them. So far, I have worn them on quick shopping trips, on a trip to the park after a long day of gardening and my first Sunday walk since before lockdown. You name it, if it was nice enough outside; I wore them. In fact, I may not wear my other wide fit sandals at all this year – Olivia wasted no time in removing the Ripple sandals and taking them to her dad’s with her!

Upon the first inspection of wearing the sandals, the quality seemed pretty much as I would expect for a pair of sandals like this, and wearing them as frequently as possible hasn’t impacted this whatsoever. My only slight grumble is that it seems the strap is too wide to fit into the buckle, and I find myself slightly bending the edges to make it fit. But for all the bonus features of these sandals, I can most definitely live with that.
If you’re quick, you can still add a pair of Hotter Tourist Sandals for Wide Feet to your summer wardrobe. If you’re lucky, there may even be an offer you can take advantage of too!

This style looks like it would be ideal for my mum as she has bunion on the side of her foot and struggles to get her feet into standard size shoes!
These Ripple sandals in rose gold are really cute, it’s so difficult to find comfortable sandals!
I’ve heard such good things about Hotter shoes – will have to give them a go! My feet are quite wide too so I struggle! #KCACOLS
I have always found sandals somewhat uncomfortable. However, these look super comfy and the quality of the material looks pretty good. I would love to have snapped up a pair of these. Thanks so much for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next time
Oh they look great and I have chunky wide feet too! #kcacols

Cant abide with trainers – love these styles
I don’t think they’d look good on me myself, but if they are extremely comfortable I could be swayed.
These are lovely. I do struggle with buying sandals that are wide, especially stylish ones. I’d wear these myself.
