No-Drill Suction Bathroom Caddy

I love a good storage system or anything that helps me organise things easier than I currently do. One area that is sadly neglected on this front is my bathroom.

I have long ummed and ahhed over adding a bathroom caddy as currently, I have everything on a shelf at one end of the bath, and Olivia keeps hers down the other end. Personally, I think bathroom caddies are much neater and tidier than having things lying on a shelf or the side of the bath.

However, I don’t want to be drilling holes into the wall, as my DIY skills leave a lot to be desired. So I would need a no-drill suction bathroom caddy to use. But are they any good, and how much weight exactly does a suction bathroom caddy hold? Shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, body scrubs, body buffers, etc. These are all critical questions, especially when you have a lot of products for the bathroom.

Plus, what about the issue of water pooling on the shelf or it rusting if it is made from metal. So many questions to ask.

The Ilikable Suction Bathroom Caddy

The Ilikable suction bathroom caddy holds up to 26lb in weight, and no screws are needed to attach it to any surface in your bathroom, bedroom or even kitchen. The white plastic design is robust and big enough to hold various bottles and products in and has hanging options at the bottom to hang different items on, such as body sponges, razors, jewellery, etc.

Hanging is super easy; all you need to do is clean the surface and dry it, press the “hook” button until you hear a pfft sound, and it is attached; it is that simple!

The hollowed bottom design houses a sloping shelf that allows any excess water to quickly drain out, meaning everything stays clean and fresh as much as possible. You don’t have to worry about stagnant water collecting in the caddy.

Reviewing the Ilikable Suction Bathroom Caddy

One thing I was happy to see was that it wasn’t just your standard suction cups. You have to press the suction holder until it “clicks” to ensure it is attached to the wall. This gave me more confidence in its suction abilities rather than just the suction cup alone.

It was super easy to put together, you just hook the suction parts to the tray, and it is ready to go. Then you put it in place before pressing the suction buttons (handily labelled “push”) to fix it into place. And you can adjust it without losing its suction abilities which is ideal for me.

So I placed mine at Olivia’s end of the bath to get her shampoos off the side of the bath. So far, it is holding out well with 2 bottles of 500 ml shampoo and condition, a bar of soap and a body scrub hanging off the bottom.

And there has been no movement so far, and it is all holding well. The bottom of the tray, as you can see, is designed for excess water to drop out, and so far, so good, not that it is in direct contact with streams of water, but it’s good to know I won’t be faced with stagnant water in it daily.

And you even get a small removing tool to help you replace your caddy wherever you want, whenever you want to. That’s a nice bonus.

If you’re looking for a shower caddy that is easy to set up, requires no drilling and does what it needs to, then the Ilikable shower caddy is definitely the one for you.
