Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Review: Sizzlin’ Stovetop

Hi everyone this is Olivia and my mum said I could write up the Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Review for the Sizzlin’ Stovetop after we have been playing with it this weekend. I love play-doh do you? My mum isn’t a fan really she said but I made her play with it anyway.

Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Review.

You get lots of different bits in the set. And you also get 5 little tubs of play-doh. The Sizzlin’ Stovetop actually makes sounds as if you are cooking food on it. It also has little spaces for you to make some other bits of food too. I liked that.

I like chopping up and cutting my play-doh so I liked all the little tools and rollers that came with the stovetop. So we started making burgers and fish and a few little carrots too. I might have challenged my mum to a burger making contest and even made her cook it on the stove top!

Verdict.

I like it. I found the set a little small but this is probably because it is aimed at younger children. You get plenty of different things in the set. It saved me going to get things like knives and forks out of my mums’ cutlery drawer to cut the play-doh. The roller came in especially handy.

Some of the shapes for the food, I wasn’t sure on. Also, I needed to make sure the play-doh was quite thick to get the print clearly. But maybe I just wasn’t pressing hard enough.

As I said earlier you do get some small tubs of play-doh – white, yellow, green, red and orange. Which are just enough to use with the set but you can’t make too many things all at once as it will run out quite quick if you don’t have your own tubs already at home.

Oh, wait I almost forgot……..

You will be wanting to see our burgers won’t you?

Who won the burger making contest do you think? Me or my mum? (I think I did!) I can’t wait to play with this with my little cousin who is 3. She always asks for Play-Doh when she comes round. I think she would love this for her birthday.

Thanks for reading my Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Review for the Sizzlin’ Stovetop I hope you like it. As my mum always puts, we did get this as we are part of the Hasbro Toy Tribe but all thoughts and opinions are my own after I played with it.

Love, Olivia xx

My kids love Playdoh but to be perfectly honest, I’m not a fan of the clean up! LOL These sets are great for inspiring creativity and honing fine motor skills but I think they’re more for older kids.

They look great! No good if you’re not a fan of mixing your colours though haha – they’d soon be a mess in our house!
Thanks for sharing your review on #TriedTested this week x

We have so many Play-doh sets already but I’m really tempted to add this to our collection. They keep coming out with great sets every year.

Looks fun, but unfortunately I hate the smell of Playdoh. It really makes me feel queasy, so I always used to make my own play dough for the boys to play with #TriedTested
