As you know, March and April in our family are often referred to as the ‘hellish months’. It is birthday season for our family and we have recently celebrated our last two birthdays for a couple of months with my youngest niece and mum being the last two on the list! This year we went out with a bang and celebrated the last one at Haydock race course.
You would be forgiven for thinking that with 7 birthdays, Easter and Mother’s Day within 48 days of each other – an average of one event every 5 days, we would be dab hands at sourcing new and fun gifts by now. The best tip I can give you is to spread the cost. Buy ahead of time – my sister starts in the January sales and do not do what I do and scramble in the days before! It never works. Ever!
