Betty Box is aimed at tweens and teens and is a monthly subscription box filled with goodies and tampons or pads of your choice to help make your period a little bit better. The Pink Parcel is the ladies equivalent. We both loved our boxes and I’m so pleased to be collaborating with them both again.
One thing the team at It’s A Monthly Thing, who is behind both of these subscription boxes, are passionate about is breaking the stigma around periods. Being able to discuss what women’s bodies do naturally every month openly and without shame is essential to reducing shame and being able to educate young girls and women on something we all experience every month.
Periods are nothing to be ashamed of.
Women’s bodies are amazing and by breaking the taboo on periods, we can reclaim our bodies and turn periods into something positive.
This year It’s A Monthly Thing is launching ‘I’M ON!’ to help change negative feelings and views on periods and turn it into something positive. The campaign will see the release of a range of slogan t-shirts incorporating the ‘I’M ON’ phrase. By pairing it with words such as ‘ON FIRE’ or ‘ON A ROLL’ we can all support the campaign and help women everywhere take back control.
Proceeds from the sales of the tees will also be donated to period organisation Bloody Good Period.

I love the Betty box, I Get IT FOR MY daughter who has just started her periods and it really cheers her up. I’d love a pink parcel for my eldest daughter. sadly, i’m too old for either, but there are some advantages to the menopause…oooh there’s an idea, how about a treat box for menopausal women..haha!
