These past few weeks, I have been trialling out a range of laundry products aimed at people with sensitive skin, babies and those who want to look after their skin a little more. Little pods of powder ready to pop straight in the drawer, no mess, no fuss.

So……………what did I think?

Actually, I really liked them. Firstly, with no sense of smell, the no fragrance thing doesn’t really bother me. If it did you, you could always add fabric conditioner with a fragrance, if like me, you are allergic to them as well, then no fragrance it is! I personally can only use certain ‘pure’ hypoallergenic ones. I don’t usually use powder in my machine, opting for liquid. Still, with these being pre-dosed and in a fully soluble wrapper, it reduces the chance of ending up with a gunky drawer from excessive over powder problem.

Using Simply Sensitive Non-Bio Washing Powder

Basically, all you do is pop them at the back of the drawer to make sure they get maximum water exposure. I recommend you ALWAYS check your drawer after each use as, for some reason, one capsule, and it really was just one, didn’t fully dissolve. This would obviously prevent others from not dissolving, too and it was possibly down to me not placing it at the back of the drawer, but I don’t know; all I do know is it was a gooey mess when I came to popping my next one in.

With regards to actually cleaning clothes, I couldn’t really fault them. I didn’t have to rewash anything and didn’t notice it not doing anything any other top range brand wouldn’t do. I was, sorry am really pleased with their performance. The main part for me, though, was the allergen side of things. I have tried various brands in the past with varying degrees of success, some fantastic, some not. The liquid I had been using was making me itch all over, and after a few washes, this really subsided. After a couple of weeks consistently using Simply Pure Allergen and Simply Sensitive Non-Bio tablets, I am itch-free, completely.
