*Review* Zoflora

You know I’ve been on my reorganisational (is that even a word? You know what I mean right?) kick , getting back on track and all that. Well, anyway, that included making sure I am keeping on top of all my cleaning duties as a responsible adult and all that.

bottles of zoflora

I am really bad for buying all kinds of different cleaners, fresheners, anti bac, odour removal products and they all don’t come cheap do they? Especially with having kids around as well you want something safe, hygienic and purse friendly all at the same time. But does that mean we need to buy loads of different things? Maybe not?

Recently I was asked to review some Zoflora and put it through it’s paces. Now this is a product that we have alwaysΒ sold in work and honestly I always put it down to being something ‘old people’ used you know, then one day I thought well it always flies off the shelves it must good mustn’t it! So I bought a bottle. I always like to review products that I use myself so it was a no brainer that I agreed really.

What you might not know is that Zoflora has many more uses around the house than for just mopping the floors, which I honestly thought was all you could do with it, although it is good for that too, and with it being a disinfectant you are getting more than just a good clean.

Zoflora claims to have a 3 in 1 action to be able to kill 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, eliminate odours and provide all day freshness. And it comes concentrated in a small bottle so you don’t really need to use much. One 120ml bottle can make up to 4.8 litres when diluted working on a 1:40 ratio (instructions on the box) now that makes for a lot of cleaning.

Now onto how I use Zoflora personally. I am a lazy cleaner, we all know this now. The main way I use it is a spray. This gives me loads of options. I use it as a disinfectant spray for kitchen work tops and my cooker etc.!I also spray my bin in between emptying it to keep it fresh and diluted in my mop bucket to clean the floors. It is also handy for those times I’m feeling adventurous and decide my skirting boards and the like could do with a good clean too! In this form I also use as a freshener around the home. Like on mattresses when changing the sheets, curtains, carpets, sofa. As it eliminates odours and freshens it is perfect really and it passed the sniff test with Olivia too, I have no sense of smell and when I asked for her opinion of the Linen fresh fragrance I had liberally sprayed all around the place whilst she was at school she said it smelt clean. Upon further probing she agreed it was nice and made her room smell better! So I was confident the fragrance was a hit, if it wasn’t there would of been a tantrum guaranteed! To be honest I haven’t really looked back since buying that first bottle and it’s safe to say it has replaced my need to be buying other unnecessary products. So perfect for keeping a nice, clean, germ free home on a budget (fyi I buy it in work for 99p for 120 ml bottle as supplied to me for this review at home bargains)

There are so many ways to use it around the house too and it is even safe to use around pets (please read instructions on the box), sinks, drains, bath, tiles, toilets, even to clean dishcloths too!

  1. Pink Grapefruit sounds lush πŸ™‚ Always see this stuff in Wilkinson and wonder whether I should pick a bottle up, next time I’m there I will!

  2. We use Zoflora for the majority of our household cleaning tasks – not only does it smell good and disinfect it’s also animal safe πŸ™‚

I love the different limited editions they bring out and highly recommend following their page on facebook where they often run competitions to win a free bottle of their limited edition ones πŸ™‚

  3. I run a cleaning company for holiday cottages. Zoflora makes the world of difference and has been very instrumental in us getting a great reputation with cottage owners and guests alike.

  4. I am a big Zoflora fan as I have pets. I use it instead of fabric conditioner in the washing machine and just about everywhere in the kitchen and bathroom. Fab fragrances, too. Nice to see a Zoflora review and giveaway.

  5. I didn’t know Zoflora was available in a linen fresh fragrance; that’s one of my favourite scents around the home, so I need to get a bottle.

  6. Really great review. I had some wrong preconceptions about Zoflora too until I read your piece and now I’m definately gonna give it a go. x

  7. I absolutely LOVE Zoflora products – they smell absolutely gorgeous – so fresh and clean. I use them everywhere – even a little drop on the bottom of my steam mop leaves the room smelling clean and beautiful without the awful “chemical” smell which so many disinfectants leave behind

  8. I’m working through the multitude of half opened cleaning products in my cupboards and then this is next on my buy list!

  9. I love this stuff- although saying that I have only ever used one bottle. I had no idea you could use it on more than the floor though, definitely going to give it another go πŸ™‚ x

  10. Zoflora is fab and SO versatile! I put some in my steam mop and it leaves the floors feeling so clean and smelling divine!

  11. I was so glad to see this opportunity here as these are great products. I love the smell of the disinfectant. Hope to be lucky.

  12. I have used the linen fresh on floors which smelt very nice. Didnt realise could use as a room spray too so useful to know

  13. I use Zoflora to eliminate germs and nasty odours. A capful poured down the plughole stops any nasty odours from drains and kills bacteria. I have to say that I had not thought of using it as a spray, so I shall have to try that.

  14. I’ve used it to clean floors before and it is great. It never occurred to me to use it in a spray, I do use sprays for cleaning, so this is a really good idea.

  15. It's good that it can be used around pets. It seems very versatile πŸ™‚ I've not used this brand before but might give it a go x
