Fact Finding with Guinness World Records 2017 Block Busters Book Review & Competition
Olivia isn’t a big reader. However, the girl is a mine of useless information. She sucks up all kinds of random facts to throw at you at bedtime. You know to keep herself awake and out of the bed zone. She loves to mention things she learnt months, if not years ago at the most random times ever!
I’m not sure where she gets her facts from, or even if they are 100% correct. I do know she doesn’t get them from books. Maybe You Tube? I don’t know. So when she was offered the new Guinness World Records 2017 Block Busters book to review, I thought well this could give her some new material to surprise me with. Especially as it’s not your run of the mill Guinness World Records Book. Not that I ever owned one as a kid. But I always wanted to!
So it’s time to get Olivia fact finding with Guinness World Records 2017 Block Busters for all the records on things like TV Shows, social media, pop stars, YouTubers, Books, characters and many, many more. Would she enjoy it? Would she learn something new and what could she possibly find to keep me awake with of a night now?
For this part, I will hand you over to Miss Olivia to tell you what she thought of it………………
Olivia’s Guinness World Records 2017 Block Busters Review

The first page I went to was the You Tube page obviously! I love Zoella and Ro (Nerdy Nummies) and they were both in there which I liked. Did you know Zoella’s Girl Online book sold 78,109 copies in the first week after it was released? I didn’t!

One of the things I don’t like about reading is loads of word on a page (it’s called a book Olivia, books have words…..) I find it a bit boring. But this was fun to read. I like that it had different sections and each page is different. It means I can just open a page and read it without having to read any others.
Also, it’s about things I would like so I found it really interesting. Like, Lego, Star Wars, Vlogging, Mobile Games. I think this is a great book for kids my age as it features things we are interested in. We can also learn new facts about things we didn’t know too. I think my mum liked the Harry Potter pages. I’m more of a Star Wars fan myself.

You can also try to break world records yourself with some challenges at the end of the book. What do you think you can break the world record in?
