So I think it’s time for another competition. To celebrate things finally moving in the right direction for me this year. First up I survived the hell months of March and April and the Easter Holidays woop, woop. Then I was head hunted for a new job! Impressive hey, well it is until I tell you that it was by someone I worked for over 10 years ago for the same hours, same pay but over less days (a full day Wednesday and Thursday no evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays) with no travel as it’s within walking distance and most importantly for me it is back to weekly pay. Having always been used to getting paid weekly it has been so, so hard trying to get used to monthly pay so the decision to switch jobs was a no brainer really.
This also means that we can go back to doing what we love which is getting back to visiting lots of different places and letting you all know what we have been up to. We have a few exciting things lined up over the next 6 weeks and I love that this blog gives up the opportunity to visit places we may not of done otherwise.
Also on the cards is a new car. Not yet but I really desperately want a car. It has been over 2 years since I last drove and with the school holidays coming up and me only being at work for 2 days a week we will have loads of time to jut jump in the car and go for day trips wherever we want. I hope to, as much as I can let you know on the different ways I am earning extra money to put away for this.
I can’t wait to put the past 12 weeks behind me and I’m looking forward to a much better rest of the year, how about you? Are you having a good 2016 or a pretty crappy one like I was? This year, I started my own blog and im loving it

My sister is pregnant for the 1st time and after 15 miscarriages due to her having hughes syndrome, this is a massive thing because she was told she couldn’t have kids

one of our little boys is really ill we have just been given a disabled adapted house which is great news we are getting ready to move now

I’m finding it hard to find anything to look forward to the way my life is at the moment. But I am hoping there are going to be some days with nice sunshine where I can sit outside with my cat and listen to the birds. I don’t want to give up hope that there will be nice days I suppose.

So much great stuff – I got promoted after going back to work from maternity leave, I got to travel to New York, Philadelphia & Amsterdam for work, my son learned to read, my daughter learned to crawl, & my brother just told me that he & his wife are expecting their first baby….and we’re going on holiday to Vancouver next month! A fab year!
