I have been pretty excited recently as I have finally gotten myself a brand new phone. It has been the case for quite some time that I know I need to work on my photography a little bit more. I don’t have a separate camera, nor can I afford one or even know how to use one. I have been going by the good graces of a Samsung S7 and sheer luck if I am honest.

Then came the Huawei p30 Pro phone with what seemed like the camera of my dreams! Using AI technology in the camera settings I was pretty sure it would be perfect for me to upgrade my phone, as I also needed a new phone too. So upgrade I did and honestly, I am totally in love with my new toy!

But something like this needs decent protection. Seriously, nothing terrifies me more when I see people with expensive phones and no screen protector or even case to protect something we rely on so much. Protect your phones people, they are worth it! My S7 never saw the light of day without a case and now my p30 Pro won’t either.

Within 24 hours of receiving my new phone, I was sent a clear case to house my new pride and joy (sorry Olivia!) from my clumsy hands. I have a screen protector on order too but a full protection case was paramount (as was getting it insured which has also been checked off my to-do list too).

I need a case that can withstand many, many drops due to nerve issues in my left hand ( I am left handed too!) and general clumsiness. It makes no sense to me as to why you wouldn’t want to add this kind of protection to your phone, especially if you have young children using it too! I for one know I can’t afford to replace my phone should I break it – even with the insurance I have taken out.
