Staff Wanted

staff wanted note

As you may (or not) be aware I am in the market for a new job. In fact in about 3 weeks time I hope to be starting new employment and I am frantically attaching my CV to all kinds of applications. I dream of finding that one job that is parent friendly and fabulously flexible, no more worrying about taking a sick day to look after your own kids! But………….. how nice would it be to be able to be my own boss, employ my own staff and make up the rules instead of towing the line to someone else’s plans, ideas, rules and regulations. What would you put in your advert if you were taking on staff?

Staff Wanted.

Staff wanted to join a thriving new company aimed at encouraging and nurturing parents and children alike.

Must be able to talk for hours on end about topics previously thought taboo, including but not limited to bowel movements, sleeping habits or lack of, the best way to multi task with just one hand available and changes to a post baby body.

Must be fluent in baby babble, toddler speak and mumblings of sleep deprived parents.

A love of cake with tea/coffee is a necessity.

Flexi hours as standard.

Work from home available too.

Weekends/late nights negotiable unless wine is involved then is an absolute must.

No experience necessary life skills will be learnt on the job.

Childcare can be arranged, parent child days encouraged.

Wage to be discussed (will cover all bills and a smidgen of sanity)

Please apply within.

What do you think? Any chance I will be lucky enough to find a job like this? No? Wish me luck I may need it!

What would your ideal job terms be? Have I missed any important details out?

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for blogging to one day be my full time career or part time one aside award winning author! (Read part 1 and part 2 and tell me if you think this may be possible)

Great post! My staff wanted advert would be similar to yours..I would also include ‘must be able to deal with at least 10tantruns from the toddler every day!’. I’m also looking for a job at the moment, I hate job hunting and it’s so hard finding something with the hours I need. Good luck with your job search!xx #KCACOLS
