Shake That Weight Review First Impressions
This past month I have been working hard to lose some weight to help me with my back and other health issues. Losing weight would ease the pain and pins and needles I have been experiencing for most of this year. It seemed my prescription was for a good old dose of healthy eating and exercise. So I have been doing just that! This has been helped along somewhat by trying out a 2 week Shake That Weight plan. This post is my first impressions for my Shake That Weight Review after being on the plan for a few days.
Shake That Weight Review: First Impressions.
I chose the 2-week woman with a meal plan. For this plan, you have 3 meal replacements a day and one low calorie balanced meal up to 400kcal. This plan allowed me to 800kcal a day and still be able to do light to moderate exercise.
There are other plans available to suit your needs, and there is a handy calculator to help you work out what plan is best for you. I was recommended the Total Meal Replacement Plan based on my height, weight and exercise.
I was debating with using it to do the Total Meal Replacement Plan. This is a bit stricter, though. You replace all of your meals with the plan and have 4 products a day. This can be with a snack if I really needed it. So far, however, I am on day 4, I haven’t been able to cut out that evening meal and go with the full 4 packs a day.
This is possibly due to it all being in my head, but I need to eat something of an evening, and to me, this option was preferable to having the 4 products and then binging of an evening. I am great during the day; however, late on, I get that urge to eat everything I can! Total diet killer.
Shake The Weight Review: Products.
I ordered a wide range of products, including foods I wouldn’t normally try. I am fine with having shakes for meal replacements, bars too. But sometimes you need to feel like you are eating real food, don’t you! The plan I chose didn’t have the options to order any ready meals; unfortunately, all my food packets came as dried portions ready to be mixed with water or milk.

My package contained: Flavoured Shakes, Soups, Noodles, Meal Replacement Bars and Snack Bars. To be honest, they all sounded like really nice flavours, especially the shakes. I loved the variety available. Drinking your meals can get quite boring, and I like to change it up a bit. There was plenty to choose from for your shakes from Chocolate Heaven to Lively Latte with a cheeky Mint Chocolate flavour thrown in. The other options didn’t have quite the range of flavours as the shakes did, but there was still plenty to choose from.
Shake That Weight: Taste.
So far, I have tried nearly all the flavours of shakes. I ordered Chocolate Heaven, Lively Latte, Hazelnut Crush, Banana Blitz, Mint Chocolate and Vanilla Vibe. All of them were really nice and thicker than I expected. I have been mixing 1 with skimmed milk per day (other kinds of milk are recommended instead of cows milk) and the rest with water. I prefer them with the milk, but they still taste just as good with water. My favourite though has to be the Hazlenut Crush.

Alongside the shakes, I have tried the Blazing Beef Chilli Noodles and Chocolate Porridge. I was surprised to find the noodles I enjoyed despite not being a lover of noodles, but they tasted great. The porridge, I’m not sure I mixed correctly as I found it a bit lumpy and not as chocolately as the shakes. I still have the plain porridge to try though this week.
Shake That Weight Review: Thoughts?
So far, so good. Currently, I am struggling not to want to eat of an evening. So, for now, I am sticking to the 3 packs with 1 meal plan. This means I am consuming 800kcal a day. So far, I haven’t felt as hungry as I thought I would be despite the dramatic reduction in calories from what I usually consume. I am still hungry, but this could also be down to me, struggling to consume enough water regularly. Currently, I am drinking around the 2-3 litres a day. I do have to force myself as I do forget to drink enough.
There has been no noticeable weight loss as of yet. I don’t plan to weigh myself until June 1st, which is near the end of my plan and 2 days before I go on holiday. Don’t forget to pop back for my results and a full Shake That Weight Review!

Sounds good!
I’m always a little sceptical of meal replacement diets. I’ve seen too many of my friends lose weight really quickly then put it all back on plus some. Saying that I like how this one can be tailored to each individuals needs and your doing an excellent job so far! I doubt I’d last a day, I have zero will power!

Best of luck. Hope you get the results you seek. I couldn’t replace meals. I love my food too much and my body insists we haven’t eaten unless we chew something lol.
I can see this is a good way to give you a kickstart.
Thanks for linking up #KCACOLS
I think these plans are great to kick start weight loss and I think you are actually wise to eat a normal meal once a day. It helps with the transition back to normal eating. I did Herbalife a while ago and it was great. I managed to keep the weight off afterwards for a while but my love for cake soon crept back in. I am now battling to lose the weight again. It is so hard!! #KCACOLS
You are doing great! I wish I can be as good as you with my will power. I really need to start doing some serious diet! I’m not sure if I can only drink shakes all day but if they will help me to lose weight I’m willing to try it! I’ll check them out! Thanks for the review! 🙂 xx
