John Frieda Luxurious Volume Competition

john frieda luxurious volume products on a background

Hair! My hair drives me mad. I was blessed with fine, flyaway, oily hair. No volume, no life just bleugh! If there is a secret to luxurious locks I certainly haven’t found it yet!

Is it strange to have a hair wishlist? I mean, we all have hair icons don’t we? I am slightly envious of Cheryl’sΒ luscious locks and I’m forever Googling blue/black hair colours and styles. Having been dying my hair black for a good few years now.

But I still haven’t come across a miracle product that not only keeps my hair oil-free, but also provides it with volume and shine without weighing it down causing it to need washing again the next day! I have stumbled on a great combination of products to keep it oil-free but I’m still working on the volume.

But there may be a solution to that problem. For those of us who need a little help in the volume department, John Frieda have developed a new Luxurious Volume range that aims to give you 7 days of volume. Sounds great, doesn’t it! I personally would love to go 7 days without washing my hair. Even just 2 days in between washing really not every other day like I have to now.

How would you like to win yourself some products from the range? I have 3 products to give away so you can try it for yourself. 1 bottle of 7-Day Volume Shampoo, 1 In Shower Treatment and the Perfectly Full Mousse. Currently on offer withΒ 1/3 off at Superdrug.

All you need to do to enter is to complete all the options correctly and make sure to read the Terms and Conditions!

  1. i have such fine and thin hair which gets greasy really easy but i hate washing it everyday due to the amount of hair breakage i have..ideally i wash mine 3x weekly but use dry shampoo in between washes when its a little greasy πŸ™‚

  2. i wash mine every other day but probably needs it everyday! gets so greasy by the 2nd day!
    dry shampoo is the solution!

  3. I like to wash it everyday but don’t think it’s good to do that so try and wash it every other day.

  4. I understand you so well. My hair is the same, thin and gets oily in a day! I have to wash my hair every single day!

  5. I kind of do it by default when I shower every morning. I am totally with you on the frustrations of fine hair, and now I’ve been diagnosed with parathyroid problems it’s getting worse (the good news is that one small op will get it growing again but it won’t make it any thicker)

  6. Once a week as it is very fine and doesn’t need any more than that. A bit of extra volume would be a great help!

  7. I wash my hair everyday. It is very long and fine and goes all limp if i don’t wash it the next day

  8. I have the same hair type as you – fine and gets oily quickly. It’s frustrating, isn’t it? Sometimes I do get lazy and don’t bother washing it. But even if I go without one day of washing it, it gets so oily. I’m trying to wash it less frequently, but it makes me feel so scruffy!

  9. Three times a week as it’s long and thick I have to straighten it or it looks like a furze Bush but then it tends to go dull

  10. Having to use public transport in London most days means I need to wash that grime out of my hair virtually every singel day.

  11. Comment
I to have greasy, fine flyaway hair, I would love something to give my air more oomph and it would be great not to have to wash it every day.

  12. Usually every second day, but sometimes every third if I’m tired, in a rush or genuinely think my hair looks okay that day. Another reason for not washing is if it is raining as my hair goes frizzy very quickly so washing it on a rainy day is pointless as it will look awful and need washing again a few hours later.
