Gandeys Circus: A Brand New Production for Liverpool
Is anyone else a bit like me and totally forgot that the kids break up for half term on Friday? I only realised when Olivia’s dad rang to say her was taking her out and I was like ‘Whaat’ she’s in school???? Turns out it was me not him that was having a senior moment. How on earth are we already nearly halfway through February!!!!
It goes without saying that I am totally unprepared for this and have absolutely nothing planned, at all. It’ll be a half term of swimming for us with our local passes. But you don’t have to be like us, no sirree. for I have a something that could bring a smile to everyone’s faces. Read on to find out more……………………
Gandeys, Liverpools very own circus are back this February half term with a brand new show. They are bringing an out of this world 2 hour extravaganza suitable for all the family. With a spectacular space age theme, Gandeys are bringing a show that will blast you out of this world! These guys always have sell out shows too so that speaks for itself. I don’t know about you but I’m a just a wee bit intrigued and would love to see this but alas, I am unable to make it *sad face*

“This year’s galaxy renowned acts are coming from beyond the stars to entertain families this half term. Firstly we have the brilliant belly busting trio known as Equivokee, who will be punctuating the thrills with their hilarious routines throughout the show! Appearing alongside Equivokee we have the world smallest stuntman and real life Ewok from the original films Trevor Jones, returning as Peanuts the Clown. Providing some Latin passion will be the Havana Troupe, who will be displaying their graceful feats of strength in their Russian Bar, Spring Board and Hand to Hand acts. Appearing alongside the Havana Troupe, from South America we have the Torres Brothers with their fast paced bolas act and Gordon Marquez with his high speed juggling. As the big top lights darken, the next act is revealed, working at the very cutting edge of circus technology, audiences are sure to be entranced by the breath-taking neon skills of Lazer Girl! Finally, landing in the circus ring, we have the Giant Space Wheel which will have families watching through their fingers as Duo Sifolinis risk life and limb in this death defying star battle! Also appearing throughout the production will be the Royalles London Showgirls who will frame the show with their beautiful dancing finesse. The circus will be led by the world renowned Binky Beaumont as Ringmaster, who is returning to the circus ring for the first time in 5 years…all this and more awaits you under the Gandeys Big Top!”

I would live to take my.little girl Phoebe to the c8rcus as she has never been before xx
This looks like a great circus with lots of different acts to entertain every member of the family. When I was a child in the 50s and 60s, circuses were a bit grim with poor animals being mistreated in the name of entertainment. Luckily those days are gone and now we can enjoy talented human performers.
My kids would love it!
I haven’t been to the circus in years! This does look like an amazing one to go and see, pity Liverpool is 3 hours away from me.
Those daredevil acts look incredible. That would be my absolute favorite part of going!
I love the Circus. If only I wasn’t so skint!
I have never taken L to the circus but i think he would love it! Im just waiting for it to come back round here again and I think I will take him this year
I havent been to the circus since I was a small child, it looks as though you had an amazing time x
The year looks very slow to me but then again my kids are still home.
It’s been ages since I’ve been to the circus, shame I don’t live anywhere near this 🙁
I love a circus! We try to go every Summer and the kids love it!
We have never been to a circus, mainly because none never come to the town we live in. It sounds like great fun! 😀 And you’re right this month is going by SO fast yet January seemed to go so slow! I need to make plans for half term 🙂
Town still has the crimbo lights on each night – hownon earth is it half terms next week please?! Good luck to all enetering this fab comp. X
Looks like a great family day out, I had free tickets to our local circus once but couldn’t take the kids so my parents stepped in
This looks like a fab family day out! I have yet to take my son to the circus x
Isn’t it annoying when things like this just creep up on you. I swear this year I going by far too quickly for my liking already!
If only I lived near Liverpool, the most important thing to ask is does it use animals or is human entertainers only. I hope no animals are used!
How exciting, I used to love the circus when I was a kid
wow I so miss the circus visiting our town it used to every year and the kids loved it as much as me
I love the circus but always have my head in my hands when they do the dangerous stuff. At the last one we went to I had to alert one of the performers to the fact that his head dress was alight after limboing under flames!
I say this every time I pass a poster; ‘I’ve never been to a circus before, I really should’. Now that I’ve seen your post, I definitely should!! Really want to go whetehr I end up loving it or hating it! xxx
My kids have never been to a circus. This one looks good but I really hate clowns. They freak me out!
Would you believe my children have never been to the circus? Something like this needs to come to Shetland! 😀
It just feels like yesterday that they had their Christmas holidays, it can’t be half term already, The circus sounds like fun though x
