Making Your House Move as Easy as Possible
There is a reason why moving home is classed as one of the most stressful things you can do. Whether you are buying your first home, selling and moving on to a new home, or renting the property, there are so many things to do, think about and keep on top of. Making your house move as easy as possible is something you will be thankful for come moving day.
Packing up your whole life into boxes whilst still having to live your life and meticulously plan the upheaval of moving day is no mean feat. That is before you factor in the monetary expenses associated with moving home.

Moving is a time consuming and expensive practice. You want and need to be able to get things sorted and organised as easy as possible. Even more so if you have a family to move with you too. Olivia was 5 when we moved into our house. I was lucky she could stay with her dad as I moved us from a flat to where we live now.
This is the 6th place I have lived in since moving out of home at 20. Three of these moves were made as a parent. And every time I said I would never do it again. I dread ever having to move home in the future, and I know this is true of most people who rent their homes as you can never be too sure that you won’t have to move again.
But there are a few things you can do to make your house move as easy as possible – if that is actually something you can do. The key to moving home seamlessly is all down to the organisation and as much help as you can get.
Make Lists. Many Lists!
And keep them somewhere you can always find them—the more methodical, the better. Preparation is key. By making a list with everything you need to do, you can get everything packed quicker and easier and keep on top of the important tasks, for example; changing over your address for utilities, driving license, council tax insurances and all your other household amenities too.
When it comes to packing, pick a room and start there before moving on when it is finished. Label all your boxes. When it comes to moving day, you can load them onto the van together, knowing they will come out and go to the correct room on the other end. Make sure to pack up the boxes with your more important items last. These will undoubtedly be the things you pack up last and will want to unpack first in your new home. Having everything labelled will most definitely make your house move as easy as possible.
If you can, move in your bigger items, like furniture and beds first so you have them in place and ready to use as you navigate your way around all your boxes of smaller items.
Plan your move with plenty of time. Even if you are moving locally, don’t leave it until later on in the day, you will need all the time you can get for unexpected hiccups or accidents.

These days, you can hire many companies to take care of different things for you when you are moving. Sure, these do come with an added expense, but if you are unable to do things yourself for whatever reason, paying someone to come and do it for you could save you time and ease and extra stress you may be experiencing due to moving home.
Hiring someone to move all your belongings for you and pack it up too could be just thing you need if you are short on time. You can hire removal companies to come in and pack up your home before moving it to your new property and unpacking it there for you. this is especially handy for families or those who are physically unable to do this themselves.
Another option would be to hire a company to carry out an end of tenancy clean.

You don’t just have to be a renter to book end of tenancy cleaning packages. Having someone come in after you moved out to give it a good and thoroughly clean before you hand the keys back can leave you free to focus on settling into your new home without having to worry about losing your deposit or doubling back on yourself to clean a place you just vacated.
If a lot of your furniture will need to taken apart and reassembled, maybe look at hiring someone who can do this quickly and easily for you as you manage to unpack everything else. No one wants to be rebuilding a wardrobe after they have just moved home, so it is definitely worth considering to save you not only time but stress too. It will also get you organised quickly as someone else will have taken the stress out of completing this task for you.
