5 Apps That are Perfect for Busy Parents

Busy parents can often feel like they need a personal assistant to organise their lives. With lots of things to remember for school, as well as the running of the home and then work and social life, there are a lot of things to organise. And not to sound cliche, but there’s an app for that! Or more correct, there are several apps for that. Sometimes, having our eyes on our phone can be a good thing, when we’re getting ourselves organised. Here are 5 apps that are perfect for busy parents and that could just help you to organise your life.

My Fitness Pal

If you are managing your weight, especially as we’re well into a new year, then this could be a great app for you.

You can monitor what you eat and your total calorie consumption. It can give you guidance on the right amount to be eating for your current height and weight, as well as keep a food diary and record how much you sleep. If you haven’t got time to look it all up yourself, then this will help.

GP at Hand

With a family, their health can be one of your top priorities, as well as your own health, of course. But with it being harder and harder to get an appointment at your local GPs, then getting an app like GPs powered by babylon, could be a good idea. You could choose when and where you have an appointment, and it could make it easier for you to arrange if you’re always on the go or commuting.

AroundMe

An app like AroundMe allows you to find certain things that are around you, wherever you are in the world.

Hospitals, public toilets, and coffee shops can all be found on there. And life with little ones can mean that you need to find public toilets or a pharmacy quite quickly. So although you might not use it all the time, it can be good to have on there when you’re out and about and if you travel quite a bit.

Money Dashboard

Being able to keep track of your finances all in one place can be a good way to help make your life simpler. Which is where an app like Money Dashboard comes in. You can put details of your incoming and outgoings, as well as your current account and savings accounts, no matter who you bank with. It can make it simpler to manage your money and stick to your budget.

Teux Deux

Simply put, an app like Teux Deux is a to-do list app, that allows you to keep on track of all of the things that you need to organise as a busy parent. You can create lists that will carry over to the next day if it doesn’t get done. So if you’re one of the mums on the school run that is always forgetting something, then an app like this could be the way to remember all that you need to.

Have you got any go-to apps that you love?
