As you may have seen across my social media channels recently, I took an adult only break with my mum and one of my sisters. It was something I have never done before nor will probably do again n the near future. Honestly, I had no idea how much I needed a time out from life and I appreciate how lucky I am to be able to do that.
Whilst the majority of my plans for the week was to literally lie back in the sun and do nothing, one thing I really wanted to do was to catch up on some reading. My reading has become sporadic of late and wanted to jump back in and catch up. So I loaded up my Kindle with plenty of books to reads for the week. *Top Tip: the android kindle app is useless to read in the sun and I would totally recommend a Kindle Paperwhite for this kind of activity.*

I am a big fan of Rachel’s after discovering her via a free ebook a couple of years back. Pisces is the first in a set of 12 books in the Zodiac Twin Flame series. There are currently 7 books in the series that have been released. I was three books behind and I couldn’t wait to catch up. I was not disappointed and can’t wait for Rachel to finish one of my favourite fantasy series!
The box set of books 1-3 is currently 99p on Amazon.
Rachel currently has many other books for sale that I can totally recommend (her new Paramornal MI5 series is superb!)
After receiving The Three to review on the blog a few years back, I was hooked on Sarah’s paranormal stories and was gripped not only by The Three but also by Day Four too. If you like your mysteries with a paranormal twist to them, you won’t be disappointed with these. Although maybe The Three isn’t great holiday material if you are flying to your destination or are a nervous flyer! The White Road is on my to-read list.
Whilst I didn’t manage to work my way through the rest of my reading list, it has reignited my love of reading and I am currently working my way through my TBR list on my app.
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine.
I don’t think I know anyone who hasn’t enjoyed this book, to be honest. I am sure I will get around to reading it at some point!
A Simple Favour
We all know this is now a film but it absolutely looks like my kind of book. I will definitely be seeing the film and the book is currently on my to-read list.
Behind Closed Doors
This one kept popping up in my recommendations on Amazon and I had to admit it is definitely one that is my kind of read.
What books are on your TBR list or what would you recommend I add to mine?
