You can start to learn to drive at 16, which means passing your test at 17. The right car is not just going to give your child the opportunity to go through drive-throughs, but it is a lifeline. Your child is going to want some flashy set of wheels. But ultimately, you are going to be by stumping up for this, so try and find a way to meet in the middle. There are wheel packages that exude style, but you can still get a safe car that you will sleep soundly at night. 

Surrounding Themselves With the Right People

If your child hasn’t gone to work already, they have either come out of school and gone into college or are still in the sixth form, which means they are being treated more like adults outside of their traditional educational settings and now need to escape the trappings of childhood. This is the perfect time for them to find people that will help them grow. It’s always important to be around smarter people because this encourages you to pedal harder. When in school, your children have the security of their classmates, but now is the time to learn how to make their mark on the world truly.

This is the ideal opportunity to break free from the trappings of traditional education. A child in school has to learn a variety of subjects, but now they can focus on what they have passion for. Developing a Passion for What They Care About

Being 17 is not easy because you have to really start thinking about what you want to do when you leave education. And while your child will need to make money, now is the time for learning the value of earning money and pinpointing their passions in life. When they start to build a passion for something, they are likely to earn money from it. And this is where you, as the parent, have to learn to take a step back. Because if you don’t think they can earn a living from doing something creative, there are plenty of creative opportunities out there.
