Surprises

My word of the week this week SURPRISES.

Untitled

This week I have been off work for half term. Of course I had things planned what I wanted to do visits for the blog and such but I have been surprised at how fast it has flown by too. It has been full of them this week.

  • I have been surprised at how much I have enjoyed having time on my hands to be able to do things other than work and sleep.
  • Olivia has surprised me at how much she has come in gymnastics, a handstand is nearly there!
  • I was surprised at Olivia’s reaction to the Dungeons when we visited Blackpool however,
  • There was no surprise that Olivia and my niece tried to kidnap olly Murs from Madame Tussaurd’s
  • I was really surprised that after choosing my new blog theme on Etsy I managed to install it myself! The least technical person ever.
  • I was surprised that I have finally, at the grand old age of 34, decided what I want to be when I grow up (This is one for another post.)
  • The realisation that things I thought I would never be able to do, may not be so hard to learn after all was surprising. After all I am the only person holding myself back aren’t I!

Thank you I really love the colours! They weren’t happy they had to leave him behind but we made do with pictures so a good compromise all round

It sounds like you had a great half term week. I’m glad you have found your direction, at a year older than you I’m also discovering a new direction. Good luck with it all ;0) x

Oh I’m so pleased you have only figured out what you want to be. That means I’ve another 3 years to figure it out. #WotW

This is such a fab positive post, I love your theme. I recently installed one from Etsy too and surprised myself at how easy it was. Like you I am thrilled with mine. And I too decided what I want to do when I grow up but a little later a 43, all due to an unexpected change i my career but it made me evaluate what I really love doing. It feels such a relief to have finally made the decision that has been at the back of my mind for a long time, it needed forcing a little, so I am totally with you here x

Well done on managing the new theme, it looks great – I particularly like the font that I’m using in the comment box. And I’d have like to see them with that Olly Murs! 🙂 #wotw

Lots of surprises! We were surprised in our house that BookBairn slept all night last night – spectacular development! Good for you, deciding what you want to do. I am working on that too. But so far I’m just settling for being mummy! x
