So I am comfortable settled into my home now here,but the thing is my little space on the internet feels well, a little bare. And not me. at all.

I know I have a bits to fix, a bit unprofessional having not done so already but a bit like moving house, these little jobs you put off and off, never quite getting around to doing but you really should. My aim was to do a little bit of blog DIY this week. Fix something here, change something there you know but as usual things didn’t go exactly to plan. Typical hey!

I really think I should give my blog a little make over. It’s a bit bland and boring right now in desperate need of a splash of colour on the walls, something to cheer the place up. If you have followed me over from my blogspot home you will know how often I changed my theme. All the time. I was just never happy. Never quite got it right and I’m still feeling a bit like that, a bit unsettled and indecisive if I’m honest.

So I’ve been looking around, window shopping on Etsy, debating getting a custom design just for me. But it is a really big decision, you know one that started out as a  a nice easy ohh what should I pick to being over analysed so much I just don’t know what to pick.

Do I want minimalist, colour, funky or simple, arghhh there are so many to choose from. Do I create a custom header or not? Decisions, decisions!

But I done it, yeah yeah, I know a bit OTT but you know me ever the dramatic, with the help of my best friend and fellow blogger I decided to go for it. I purchased this one! (link can be found at the bottom of the blog)

The thing is I wanted something fun and funky. Nothing too clinical and minimalist ‘coz thats not me at all, if you seen the inside of my house you would know! I wanted colour, whimsy nothing serious yet still professional looking.

My main issue was installing it myself. I am the worst at technology, even with The Dummies Guide to Following Instructions!  I even surprised myself by managing it and I have to say I am feeling petty chuffed with myself right now.

Whatcha think? It’s obviously not to everyones taste but it’s 100% better than the black and white thing I had going on isn’t it! Me and Olivia, we Love it, for now anyway, watch this space…………………….
