Olivia's Outfits

Olivia’s Monster High Outfit

This week with Olivia being back at school after the half term I am showing off an outfit from her week off, which to be fair kind of turned into a mini fashion parade, especially with her current love of Monster High Outfits!

Mum, how about this outfit for Trendy Tot Thursday?

Seemed to be the theme so I snapped her in one of my favourite outfits on her. I think the colours suit her and it makes her look really tall as well where has my little girl gone!

We give you Olivia’s Monster High Outfit!

Another character top, a yellow and grey Monster High long sleeve top age 12-13 from Tesco. I bought this for her birthday in March. I think you have to be so careful with character clothing as they get older. Sometimes they don’t look great on older kids do they? Like the Monster High leggings we picked up one time for £1 in the sale which are worn around the house only. But I think this one really works especially with the yellow against the grey leggings. £3 from Primark age 11-12 what do you think?

The pout! It’s all about the pout!

We even threw on some Monster High socks for good measure. And featuring again the fab Mickey mouse pumps from last week (£5 from Primark size 3 in adults range)

What do you think? Do you like character clothing or do you agree with me you have to be really careful with older kids? Olivia still loves it but there is a fine line especially as she wears bigger sizes than her age (she is 9)

I’m almost 32 and still love character clothes I think it depends on the character and the person wearing it. Olivia looks fab in her monsters high top. It looks a bit Emo – very teen in my opinion. She looks fab! #TT_Thursday

I love this top it’s one of my favourite outfits on her but we have come across some character clothing that just doesn’t look right on her with her being older now x

A very cute outfit. I love the Mickey shoes, they’re adorable.

I think the t-shirt really suits her, especially as Monster High is focused at children her age. But I see your point about other motif tops. I still need to get to primark for my own Mickey Mouse pumps. Thank you for sharing #TT_Thursday

I love the colours. Sometimes they just babyish but the new monster high designs are aimed at older children so they still look good on her

It depends on their personal style I have friends now who wear cartoon style clothing and it suits their personality. Olivia looks great!

Thank you! I do like the character clothing for adults but sometimes with kids the designs don’t look right ie too babyish for Olivia so we have to be careful with what we choose

Love the Disney shoes!!! I’ve seen lots of them around with adults buying them as well as children so think I’ll add them to my Christmas wishlist!
