I have another great competition for you! This is one I know Olivia would love to win. She is currently learning how to do her own makeup and spends a lot of time (and my money) on new eye shadow palettes and contouring kits. Now, I am not the best at doing my makeup so I can’t help her out much but she does have her favourite YouTubers who she watches to pick up tips and tricks from.
It’s really as easy as it looks sometimes and takes quite a lot of practice but she will get there. Although I do feel she shouldn’t skip the whole blue eyeshadow and garish lipstick phase. I would gift to a local drama (volunteers) group. As they do use make up for stage shows at times.
I’m not great at make up yet my tip would be to blend blend and blend some more . These brushes look fab !
I always put moisturiser on first and then wait ten minutes before putting on any make up. I find my make up stays on much better
Always clean your face AND your hands first.
Always cleanse, tone, moisturise and apply primer before make up.

I don’t really wear a lot of makeup but my teenage granddaughter Ruby does ,she loves to practice new looks I would love to gift them to her
Always use good quality tools and don’t apply too much at once, build up foundation in layers and always apply in good light. If I win I’d give these to my daughter
Use a good primer and a setting powder. Along with a setting spray. All 3 work wonders!

make sure your tools are clean, using dirty make up brushes will make your makeup look horrible Imo
My tips would be to practice and to be adventurous.
I need to wear glasses now, so my best tip to myself is to use an illuminated magnifying mirror. It’s scary to see my imperfections like this but my make up is so much better now!
I always apply a serum under my moisturiser to make my skin nice and moisturised so that the makeup goes on well

My best tip(s) are to moisturise before putting on foundation and to use a primer before foundation and eyeshadow to make it last!
Good tools are key and a good primer.
I use a very soft large brush to apply foundation which gives a really even and natural finish. Good brushes do make all the difference!

when you get your clothes ready for work the next morning, put you make-up ready too it saves time looking for the the ones that you want to wear

Cleanse, tone and moisturise skin first: use an eye primer and skin primer. Always start with eye shadow from the outer eyelid and blend it as you move across the eye. Most importantly wash your make up brushes regularly. Weekly if possible
never leave it on overnight, and always apply moisturiser at least ten mins before applying!
A nice primer helps to keep my makeup fresh all day
Using a primer I find is good your make up looks fresher and stays on better I always buy lipstick that stays on for 8 hours too
Less is more, just focus on one area (lips OR eyes OR cheeks)

I always apply a primer before applying anything else. It makes my make-up easier to apply.
