How You Can Do Your Bit At Home To Help Save The Planet
There are so many ways you can all do your bit at home to help save the planet. Whilst it may be easy to think it will be someone else’s job and it may not matter if we, individually don’t make the effort. But really even making the smallest of changes can make an impact on the environment and help protect and preserve it for future generations.
Things like, recycling your waste, or even making a conscious effort to reduce what you throw away at home can help.
Combining this with small changes around the home such as lowering your thermostat are all ways to start before venturing out into other energy-saving routes. Every little action helps regardless of how small.
Rattan Direct have produced a handy guide full of tips and ideas of different ways of how you can do your bit at home to help save the planet.

The guide features tips on how to reduce your energy bills to not only help save you money and reduce your bills but also to preserve the plant. Personally, I have already lowered my thermostat and try to not put my heating on unless absolutely necessary. It may only be small, but if everyone does this, the amount of energy saved (along with money) will be beneficial.
Hand in hand with reducing the energy you need to use at home is making sure your home is running as efficiently as possible.
The guide gives you a range of ideas to implement at home to make sure you are able to run your home and reduce your energy consumption. Things like installing double glazing – which I have recently had installed too may be a huge initial outlay, but in the long run, it can save you on your monthly outgoings.
