It’s coming up to that time again, Summer Holidays, arghhh! Does anyone else feel under pressure to have something different to do every single day of the 6 weeks holidays? I mean seriously, it feels like it gets harder and harder each year to entertain Olivia and I only have one child! I take my hat off to all you parents who have more than 1.

I for one know I can’t afford the extortionate prices of some attractions these days but with kids wanting to visit every theme park, Legoland and then somehow about a bit of help? This year why don’t you check out this handy ebook. Created with the help of over 100 of the best British Bloggers, this is the ultimate collection of all of our favourite spots to visit all over the country.

My suggestion for the book was THE GLORIOUS BLACKPOOL. I wrote…

“As a child, I loved going to Blackpool and, even though it isn’t quite the same, there is still always something new to do when we go to Blackpool and regardless of the weather we always have a good time. Even on a rainy day you can play in the arcades in the warmth!”

Now you all know how much we both enjoy visiting Blackpool and if you have caught my instagram feed this past week you would have seen all manner of random selfies from the top of the Tower! If you are planning a visit why not head over to the tab at the top of the page, Days Out & Attractions to see what we get up to when we visit. Although I have to admit not having made it up to the fair for a while that is a must for us this summer!

So why not pop over and check out our tried and tested activities, attractions and more with something for every family budget on there it is chock-a-blok with tips and ideas from some fabulous bloggers. I really think it is a must have for this summer especially with the predicted barbeque summer we are being treated to! Why not make the most of it to explore some new places or just see if you can find us in Blackpool (Madame Tussauds will probably be the best bet)

Where do you and your family like to visit in the summer? I would love to now if any of your favourites are included in the ebook or if there is anything in there that grabs your attention.

I’m so glad that my daughter isn’t in school just yet but next year we will have to worry about the summer holidays! Free activities are definitely always a good option 🙂

What a great idea for an ebook. Beach days are always our go-to budget day out #KCACOLS

Hiya, I still have to work through the summer holidays so I usually pop my two boys into football school for a couple of days a week and then try and work from home one of them and throw in odd days of leave through the rest. It’s a nightmare to be fair and I usually feel guilty for most of the holidays. I do always take the last week off and we go on a lovely family holiday so it always ends brilliantly. It’s a juggle though for the rest. I haven’t ventured into Instagram so I’m afraid I haven’t seen your post there, I get so caught up in social media that I just limit myself to Twitter, Pinterest and my blog. If not then I’d never see the light of day:) X Mainy

Ooh I will have to check out that ebook… Nice to get inspired with some new and low-cost ideas… With a toddler I’ve realised days out can easily add up whereas he’s just as happy in places that didn’t cost anything eg forests! #KCACOLS

We used to visit Blackpool too! Loved it every time. This summer hoping to go to Cumbria camping, and then fly by the seat of our pants for the rest of summer! Thanks for linking up with #KCACOLS and hope to see you next week!
