A couple of weeks ago I joined up with the lovely Alice Megan for her linky A Look In My Letterbox and I thought I would join in again this week.
So what have I had through this week? I got some more sopost goodies again. This time I have some Lancome and Liz Earle goodies to try out. I hope they live up to their reputations as I’m looking forward to trying them out. I still haven’t figured out how to find them myself yet as I had these sent to me from friends.
I haven’t really been entering any competitions lately so I haven’t had any wins but I got my copy of Compers News and I really need to put it to good use as I have already paid the subscription costs (see this post for more info). Would be a shame not to use it really wouldn’t it. I can’t really get to grips with the download copy so I prefer to wait for the paper copy to come through the door.
Also last weekend I kind of killed my carpet cleaner *sad face* About 6 months ago I purchased a Bissell carpet cleaner and it is amazing. But it suddenly stopped working and I have about 5 stains on my bedroom carpet that need cleaning. I figured out it was the water tank and popped onto the website to see if I could order that specific part. I couldn’t, they didn’t have that models parts so I done what most of us do these days. I tweeted them. Nothing bad, a simple ‘oh no, I’ve broken my carpet cleaner. I will have to call @BissellUK in the morning’
Bissell promptly replied and we had a little DM chat about the problem. I sent them pictures of the model number and problem explaining that all it was, was that I couldn’t find the part online so was going to call to see if it was available to buy to replace. They asked for my email address and within hours I had an email telling me what had caused the problem and while this part wasn’t covered under the warranty, this time they would replace it for free. How amazing is that for customer service. I’m all for complaining if there is an issue but this time it was simply an SOS tweet for help finding the right part. I never expected to receive the part for free. This all happened Tuesday and the part arrived Thursday! Result! I love my Bissell appliances and now I love their customer service too, thanks Bissell for stepping up and helping me out.
