Unicorn PJs from The Pyjama Factory

Hands up if you love nothing more than changing back into some comfortable PJs at the end of the day. Or even, in the middle of the day or for just a lazy Sunday? Yeah, me too. Over the years I have had some great pyjama sets. I even got 2 for Christmas, 3 if you count new Christmas Eve PJs.

One thing I think we can all agree on is that any pair of PJs you own should be comfortable. Whether you wear them around the house only or you prefer to just sleep in them, they need to something you can wear to relax in. Am I right!

With so many different styles and, patterns and designs these days, it can be easy to get carried away and own far more sets than you will ever need. As Olivia has gotten older, we have been able to buy matching pyjama sets now she is in adult sizes! The first time I tried this, I got us some Jungle Book sets, we looked really cute even if I do say so myself.

So when I was offered to review some pyjama sets from The Pyjama Factory, I knew we needed to get some new matching ones ready for when the warmer weather gets here. I also got my youngest sister matching too as she spends a lot of time at our house, plus we did the matching thing for Christmas too so I knew she would love that!

The Pyjama Factory, what can you get?

The Pyjama Factory has pyjamas for the whole family in a variety of different styles and patterns including some of your (and your children’s) favourite characters. The kid’s sizes are from 18-24 months to 15-16 years. Adults from 8-10 to 20-22 for ladies and S to 5XL for men. You can even get full family matching sets too to complete the look! Whether you want full winter onesies, summer vest and short sets or just full-length pyjamas, they have a great range to look through to find the right set for you and your family.

I got us all matching unicorns sets! I know I know, but the quote on the set was so typically us, it just seemed the right choice. “Too Lazy To Move”. As Olivia is entering her teenage years, this couldn’t be more apt for her, plus we all love unicorns too so win, win I think.

Olivia and my sister ordered a size 12-14 and I went with the 20-22. Olivia found them the perfect fit however due to different body shapes, I would have liked a more generous fitting to the top and my sister to the shorts. They are quite a snug fit but again this is down to personal preference as to if this is a good or a bad thing. If you are unsure of your size and prefer a looser fit in your nightwear, maybe opt for the next up as Olivia did.

That being said we found the material – 100% cotton, to be really lightweight and comfortable. I really liked the shorts and the drawstring waist is an added bonus as I am not as big on the bottom as I am on the top. I am hoping they wash well, but with being cotton, I’m sure that won’t be an issue. For the first wash, I will be washing top and bottom separately with dye catcher sheets just in case, on a quick 30° cycle (I will update this post to let you know how they wash).

I love the pop of colour too on the unicorn tail and horn to brighten up the black and white, it really makes them pop. I can’t wait to wear them over the warmer months!

  1. Given the chance I would live in pj’s. It’s rubbish that it’s not socially acceptable. lol
I love those pj’s. You both look great in them.
We had seom from the Pyjama Factory before Christmas and I loved that they went up to 15-16 years. They were perfect for my teen. x
