On Friday 16th June 2017 Oxfam are inviting you to join them in fighting poverty and let your kids dress you for the day!
Oxfam’s #DressedByTheKids this year needs your silly side to help them out with their fundraising efforts. All you have to do is let your kids dress you in any silly, wacky, crazy outfit they choose and head off on your day! Are you brave enough?
Oxfam’s #DressedByTheKids Day.
Head over to the Oxfam website where you can download your fundraising packs and join in with adults all over the country who are taking part too. After all, it’s all good fun and in the name of charity! Anyone can join in, why not rope your workplace into joining you too and see who can come up with the craziest outfits!!
This Friday I am unable to take part. I apparently have to wear my uniform to work and I’m off to the races in the evening. So before Olivia goes to her dads I got her to dress me up in an outfit of her creation. I then posted the snap on Twitter for all to see. It’s the next best thing to going out in public when you can’t isn’t it!
What Did She Pick?
Well, I literally told her to choose anything. When I saw my favourite Disney T-Shirt I was hoping for a rather tame outfit. It all went quickly downhill from there! She teamed it with an old skirt I forgot I had, a giant purple hairbow as a bowtie, her holiday cap (on the side for extra effect) and bed socks on my hands. I think I got off lightly there didn’t I!
If you are joining in this week make sure to tweet or tag @oxfamgb on Twitter and use the hashtag #DressedByTheKids to share your outfits.
*Disclaimer: I was asked to take part in this campaign, however, I have not been compensated for doing so*
