So last week I done my first meal plan of the year and now it’s week 2 and I am a little behind with this post.
So how did I get on?
Well it didn’t exactly go to plan to be fair, there were days Olivia opted to sleep over at my sisters and I may of had one, ok two cheeky takeaways but………….. it seems my appetite has reduced and it is taking less food fill this greedy girl than it used to which is good. Probably down to a) drinking more water, about 2-3 litres a day. b) my Nutribuddy hunger fix tablets and c) not having anything on our treat shelf! If it’s not there I can’t eat it right. It’s also a big a help that everyone and I mean everyone at work is on a diet so we can all be healthy together.
Monday ended up being Friday’s wrap pizza’s with the jacket potato/carbonara bumped to Wednesday. Tuesday was a chicken chasseur with homemade wedges with herbs. Thursday was slip up night as Olivia had dinner at her dads and Friday after work I accidentally found a takeaway in my hands I have no idea how it got there at all!
My diet wasn’t the best either as I struggled to stop my mid afternoon binges and late night pig out fests! With that in mind I am having my nutribuddy shake as a snack supplement to help me out. With all the changes to the plan I also thought it might be easier to just plan the meal list and not assign them to a certain day so we can pick out what we fancy for that day. Also I haven’t been shopping yet so I am planning before I shop so I don’t get things I don’t need again!
So again for this week Olivia will be having dinner in school and will be having dinner with her dad on Thursday and I will be having either soup/sandwich/beans on toast for my lunch depending on if I am in work or not. I have most of the food needed in so just need to get a few bits and basic bread and milk for this week. Hopefully it will be easier to stick to. I have popped our meals from last night as the first option and what I already have in the slow cooker for today next so it’s just 3 days of meals to organise. Olivia is at her dads from after gymnastics on Saturday and all day Sunday so no meals needed for her and I am going to review a pub menu on Saturday with a friend so just Sunday for me.
