Are you a gig fan? Spend your days with your finger on refresh 10 mins before opening time to make sure that you absolutely get the best seat in the house. I mean if you’re paying the money you want to be able to see what’s going on don’t you?! That’s how I feel anyway and I know exactly when it all started.
I was 13. It was the summer of ’94 and I had somehow managed to score a ticket to see Take That in Manchester. I couldn’t quite see them and vowed never again to go to a concert and have crappy seats. And so far it worked. Since then I have managed to get great seat to some fabulous concerts, not all cool and trendy but still I havemanaged to get some great seats to some amazing shows. The best had to be both times (in the same year I have to add) we managed to get tickets to see Micheal Buble and the Queen herself Beyonce. Absolutely nothing could prepare me for the sight of seeing her live and up close in person.
It was pre Olivia so I’m not going to divulge exactly how many years ago it was but it was not long after she went her seperate ways from Destinys Child and at the time I wasn’t a huge fan until I got there, Damn the woman is 100% a complete and natural showstopper. With talent, class oozing out of every pore she simply owned the stage by simply just standing there. How many other people on this earth can say that. It goes without saying that since then I pretty much love Beyonce. It would of been pretty hard not too afterwards. From the gold circle we had some pretty amazing close up shots afterwards. Truly a once in a lifetime experience, to hear her voice like that, wow is all I can say!
It’s safe to say that since way back then she has evolved and the world has watched as she has reigned supreme as the queen of pop ever since. What I love most about her these days is her is her ability to inspire and awe. Let’s take the speculation about ‘Becky’ I have absolutely no idea who she is yet the buzz was unreal and everyone was caught up in the hype. The woman has skills seriously. By letting her music do the talking she had the whole world talking about her in mere hours! That kind of thing takes some skill and talent!
I honestly would love to go back and see her again and my sister is always frantically trying to get tickets with little success. Me, I take another route? As you all know I love a good competition and what better than winning them! That would be amazing wouldn’t it! I would love to ring her and be like “look what I won” BEST.PRIZE.EVER.
That’s what Chill Car Insurance thought too and are running an absolutely once in a lifetime amazing prize for a pair of tickets to see the lady herself in action live in Croke Park Dublin on Saturday the 9th of July 2016. This is right before my birthday and would be the best present ever don’t you think! I’m going to have to enter. If you feel the same head over to their competition page and get entering now! Go, go, go!
