Cool Things To Do In London With Kids
Here is a list of the cool things to do in London with kids. Are you visiting the Capital city with your kids soon and you are looking for ideas for things to do? Not to worry, we have got you covered.
Covent Garden

Covent Garden is both a town square and a market, and it is truly one of a kind. This may not sound like the typical thing to do with kids but it is, in fact, as fun for them as it is for you. Here, you can find all kinds of things for sale from designer perfumes to antiques to quirky wooden toys.
One of the best things about Covent Garden that your kids will love is the street acts. You will be entertained by a man juggling deadly swords while balancing on top of a ladder or a beam, singers and clowns, magicians, and acrobats. These make for an entertaining afternoon for you and your kid. Also, there are various spots where you can get delicious things to eat while waiting to be entertained by the next act. The shops at Covent Garden are open from Mondays to Saturdays from 10.00 to 20.00; Sundays from 11.00 to 18.00.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Another spot that you must visit is the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, a popular destination all year round for kids and adults. There is so much to do, considering this was the site of the 2012 Olympics. Your kids will most definitely be interested in the playground located in the north area of the park with rock pools, the Tumbling bay, tree houses, those wobbly bridges integrated into the natural landscape of the park and sandpits.
If the weather gets a bit too hot, you can cool off in the fountain and watch the 195 computer-controlled water jets.
Greenwich

If you have older kids, they will be intrigued to see and experience the home of the Greenwich Meantime. They will get the opportunity to explore the Astronomer Royals house, the Royal Observatory and stand on the meridian line.
There are also a lot of things to do in Greenwich on a day out including the Queens House and Greenwich Park, the Cutty Sark, and several playgrounds. You can go on a boat trip if you are at Westminster Pier and make it a complete day trip.
Plonk, Camden

If you are looking for a unique activity for your kids when visiting London, then you should go with them to Plonk’s hyper-coloured crazy golf located in Camden. The Plonk venue is set up in the Victorian horse stables in Camden Market. It features a tropical theme spanning across 6 units. Kids love colours! So this should be one of the most fun things for them to do on a day out in London. The 9 hole course features some of the most frustrating obstacles from ¼ pipes and big ramps, to balancing beams.
