Taking The Restored Advanced Sleep Aid

In July, I wrote about working with a new startup, The Restored, to improve my sleep quality by taking The Restored Advanced Sleep Aid. Back then, it was before my Fibromyalgia diagnosis. I was struggling, and still am, on occasion, with my sleep. Never feeling fully rested after a full night’s sleep was exhausting, and spending every day feeling like I hadn’t had any sleep was taking its toll.

I took a health quiz on The Restored. Not surprisingly, I was advised to add a sleep supplement to my bedtime routine along with some other changes. I am the first to admit I probably have the worst bedtime routine going, but that, coupled with the Fibromyalgia, made my sleep pattern unpredictable and absolutely not restful.

Improving My Sleep with The Restored Advanced Sleep Aid.

The Restored started their journey as Utmost Me. You may remember I worked with them previously, trying out their Neuro Focus Plus supplements. This is a product I loved and still use now. I love the idea behind the products and how they are designed to fit into your life and help you be a better version of yourself. After all, sometimes we all need a little bit of help with certain areas of our lives, don’t we?

The Restored believe that improving your health doesn’t need to be difficult. You need to focus on the right things. The Restored foundations of health inspire their philosophy; these are;

SLEEP | NUTRITION | MOVEMENT | MINDSET

Breaking this down to focus on one area means building better foundations for success in other areas. This is in keeping with the theory that 20% of effort will govern 80% of your results. The health quiz I took gives you an indication of what area this is for you.

The Restored Advanced Sleep Aid blend contains 9 vital sleep nutrients that work together to help promote sleep. Capsules are vegan, GMO-free, gluten-free, and GMP certified with 100% natural ingredients.

Adding The Restored Advanced Sleep Aid to my Night Time Routine.

Now I knew the real reason why I wasn’t getting that restful night’s sleep. Could a simple supplement help me get that elusive refreshed morning feeling? Well, yes and no. Let me explain.

I took one capsule each night for the first three nights before upping it to two capsules a night 30 minutes before sleep. This lets your body get used to the ingredients and build your foundation for a restful night’s sleep.

I have been taking them for around 2 weeks now, and as I mentioned, I honestly wasn’t sure at first if they were for me. But after around a week of taking them each night, I did notice some small improvements to my sleep. Not with the waking up so much but the getting to sleep.

Some night especially Sunday’s it can take me a long time to fall asleep. I have been known to still be awake at 3 – 4 am when I need to be in work for 8 am with a school run drop off on my way into work. Not fun times at all! However, recently, I have noticed over the past week I have been falling asleep earlier. I love it!

Now my body has gotten used to the supplements I am noticing the benefits more.

Whilst I am not waking up full of energy and life, I find it much easier to fall asleep and stay asleep. Which, for me, is amazing. I am sleeping all night and getting around 8- 9 hours sleep. I do have to admit, though, I failed miserably at implementing a new sleep routine. When the exhaustion kicks in, and I go to bed, I sit there on my phone or watch TV. I can’t help it. Another thing I have to mention is my leg ache.

This is usually what keeps me lying awake of a night. Whatever it was pulling me into a deep sleep helped me to ignore the pain and drift off regardless. Sure, it was still there of a morning, but I do not having to lie awake because of it of an evening is reason alone to keep on taking these supplements.

For a fair review, I decided to not take the supplement just for one night to see if it made any difference. I was definitely more restless and had to talk myself into going to sleep, as odd as that sounds. There was nothing to relax my body or keep me asleep when the dreaded ache roused me from my sleep in the early hours!

Would I recommend taking the Restored Advanced Sleep Aid?

I know we are all different. However, I definitely think The Restored are onto something with this. Had I not been approached to review these supplements, I honestly think I would have been at my GP asking for something to help me sleep. So, whilst I didn’t gain all the benefits from them, I did see some improvement in my sleep. And my midday naps have reduced a lot. Not totally (and I would seriously miss them if I stopped), but I don’t feel that overwhelming urge to sleep every single day. Just that niggling tiredness I have become used to daily.

The Restored Advanced Sleep Aid is available to buy online for £29 per bottle with up to 15% discounts when you buy two or more bottles.

From what I’ve read there’s not a shred of evidence that The Restored has any effect on sleep quality and length. I’ve taken it for 2 weeks. Useless!

I have found that it’s helped me sleep but I went up to two a night and my anxiety levels shot through the roof waking up really anxious. I’ve always been sensitive with B Vitamins so I wonder if it’s that?

I have difficulty falling asleep and am often awake for hours after I go to bed and then struggle to get up in the morning. Unfortunately I already take a cocktail of tablets daily, so not sure I’d want to add any more.

Fantastic – checking this out today – if there’s no interactions or contraindications with current meds, I’ll be back to try this!

I would be interested to know what the tablets / supplements contain. Why is it that they should help sleep. As many of us may be in need of better quality sleep for one reason or another.
