Appreciating the small things

Last week I wrote about how Olivia and I were getting out an about a bit more of an evening. Going for runs together, playing in the park and generally getting some more fresh air and exercise in our lives. I though I would share with you the park where we go. It is such a nice large open space that we walk through daily to get to school, to get to the local shopping centre but until this week I have very rarely looked at it as something other than somewhere to walk through to get to where I am going but having spent more time in there recently I have started to appreciate how nice it is on a sunny day (as everything is surely!) and exactly what is on our doorstep for absolutely nothing!

We plan on spending a lot more time here during the summer, going to the park, having picnics, going for our runs, having mini adventures (you can see Olivia’s recent adventure here) and feeding the ducks even though Olivia is a bit wary of them!

What hidden treasures do you have near you? Or have you just discovered something that was there all along too?

We don't have many hidden treasures, but we have a few that the kids have put on their bucket lists to visit over the summer! Great post hun, thanks so much for linking up with #MMWBH xx

That park looks lovely, and Olivia looks like one cool kid! (I apologise if cool is no longer..emm.. cool as a description? I am a bit behind with the times!) Thanks for your comment on my blog from #sharewithme
