Have you read my ‘I Work Out’ post? Go on, give it a read! It is basically about how I have rediscovered my love of working out and what type of workouts I have been doing. One thing I have never really been great at though is having good, proper workout clothes. Last month I treated myself to a new outfit, an Adidas vest and Reebok cropped sweat pants. But I could really with a few new bits to help me out and guess what, I have a workout wishlist, of course I do!
So this is what I am currently wearing to go to the gym. I am not a fan of full t shirts when I am working out, I hate the restriction on my arms so I always choose to sleeveless or cropped/capped sleeves. Also with me having a really round tummy, my 18th month food baby, I really need bottoms which have a draw string on to tie them and keep them in place. Does anyone else have this issue? Normal capri’s, joggers etc even leggings, tend to just roll down and I spend most of my time just hiking them back up in a really undignified way as they inevitably take my knickers down with them too, classy aren’t I! So I got them for the drawstring even though I wanted a pair like all the girls wear as they look so comfy, not that mine aren’t as they are but they don’t have a wide range in ones with drawstrings in them unless I’m looking in the wrong places? By the way I realise how baggy they are around the bum area but a) I need a bigger size for my waist than my legs and bum and b) it was after my mega workout this morning.

Also my current trainers were bought before my exercise hiatus, bought when I went through my ‘I want to run’ phase and are Karrimor running shoes. They are really unsuitable for the exercise classes I am doing now and it feels like they have a distinct lack of support as my feet and calf’s can end up hurting quite a lot during the class. The biggest issue I have though is………..A decent sports bra! I have a Shock Absorber Ultimate Gym Bra but it is from when I lost all my weight and is now too small for me. I did order one when I ordered my outfit but for the £40 cost I felt like I didn’t get as much support, or any support really, as I got from my Shock Absorber one. Shame really. I have actually been wearing two medium support ones :0 I know, I know, I really need a new decent sports bra asap!
If you can see in the picture above, I also always wear my FitBit Flex that I won in January. I love to keep track of my workouts and steps throughout the day, even my sleep too. I would love to try the FitBit charge though but I do love my Flex.
I would definitely love a new sports bra, especially the Ultimate Gym Bra in the right size. I would need to drop 1 cup size and 2 back sizes to fit into the one I have so it could be a while before I’m in it again. I desperately need new trainers, asap. I have been looking at these Adidas Energy Bounce ones in pink. They are exactly the style I need for the exercise I do. And lastly, just for the sake of it, a FitBit Charge HR, a complete upgrade from my Flex that’s for sure. (All items link to Very and are currently sat in my online basket where they will probably remain for a while awaiting funds!)
What would you recommend for me to invest in?
