Word of the Week: Decisions

This weeks word of the week had come quite easily for me this week. I seem to have had a things to think about and a few choices to make so easy, some not quite as straight forward.

My first one was a biggie. Again about my ‘career’ or lack of right now from certain perspectives. I was asked, due to my success on the training programme if I would consider moving stores. Back to a bigger store, later opening but with more career advancement opportunities. I deserved to give this a lot of thought but decided that as I came to a smaller store specifically for one reason, Olivia, it would be detrimental to our life to be stepping back to what I had moved away from. So on this occasion I decided to decline, after all I have all those fabulous teenage years ahead to look forward to where I quite possibly will need work to be my refuge and will gladly go back full time!

Some other decisions were out of my control, like what to do about my next door neighbour and his anti social (towards me only apparently) tendencies.  The moment he actually pushed past Olivia as she was in his way with no excuse me made my mind up. Annoy me all you like but when it comes to my child hell no! Crossed the line here mister too far.

As it has been my birthday too this week that also came with its own set of decisions too. What cake did I want, did I want to go out for dinner, what did I fancy doing and what to but with the money I got. This is what I decided, chocolate cake, of course, staying in for a bbq dinner but it rained so we got takeaway dinner. I got chicken in satay sauce with chips and a side of salt and pepper chicken wings mmmm delicious! I went shopping with my mum so she could check I spent the money on me not Olivia or food shopping, busted!, and I got some lovely new clothes for the summer, post to follow at a later date.

So there we have it my week full of decisions, some easy some not so and others where just fun! Linking up with Jocelyn over at The Reading Residence

  1. What are you planningon doing with that neighbor. He sounds a bit mad. I wish you can settle it fast. Hope you had a happy brithday in spite of that neighbor. #wotw

  2. Lots of decisions! Sounds like the right choice about your career, as you're sticking with your priorities. How rude is your neighbour! I know what you mean, you can take so much, but not where your child's involved- glad you're sorting something. And your birthday sounds lovely, and with your wise mum shopping with you! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x
