You all know I love Christmas, and this year is no exception. Last year, I was a little bit worried that Tegan wouldn’t appreciate the tree, but in the end, she wasn’t fussed and left things well alone. However, this year, we have the whirlwind that is Lilley, and figuring out how to decorate the house without her wanting to climb the tree and play with my ornaments is going to be a logistical nightmare!

But Christmas will prevail, especially when I have been sent these delightful Christmas Tree Fences from Quntis. I have always wanted something to go around the base of my tree, and in the past, I have had large gift boxes and the like. But this fence is definitely going to be something I put around my tree. I don’t think it will stop Lilly from trying to get at it, but we can still add them in.

Now, this fence is marketed for Christmas; however, it can be used internally and externally, meaning you can put it in your garden if you so wish. Plus, they aren’t just for Christmas. They can be used all year round for the garden, or you can add them to a kid’s sensory room or playroom; they can be used for parties or weddings, too, for example. But they will make a stunning addition to your Christmas decor.

The lights are for decoration only and aren’t to be used as a permanent structure or in place of a sturdier fence. You get a pack of 4 panels, each measuring 35×28.3 cm, and 144 lights in total. To use the lights outside, they have passed the IP44 test and are made of durable PVC plastic, which is weather resistant, and the lights are enclosed inside.

The fence is a picket-style fence and can be connected to other packs to help you make a bigger fence; one pack comes to 1.4 m when laid out side by side, and you can use them in a straight line or a circular design to go around your Christmas tree. If you want to use them in your garden, alongside a flower bed, border or along your path to light the for Santa, they come with ground spikes and cable ties to secure them to something to keep them in position.

Oh, I love this little fence. It is absolutely perfect. I’ve been wanting to find something that can go around the base of my tree, and while it’s not up right now (Olivia refuses to let me put it up, and my current foster dog will try to destroy it!) I have set it up around my fireplace to show you what it looks like, and honestly, it is the most adorable thing ever. I want to keep it here, if I am honest. Each piece of the fence clips together really easily, and you need to join the light connections so each piece lights up as it needs to.

The lights are inside the plastic so if you use them outside you don’t have to worry about them getting damaged in the rain. You get ground spikes for the garden and flat bases for use inside the house.

For a decorative fence, it looks good with the lights both on and off, as you can see in the pictures. The fence isn’t battery-powered. You need to plug it in, so bear this in mind when looking at where you place it.
