Pledge One Hour

Recently the team from Weekend Box Club commissioned a survey to try to find out how much quality time parents get to spend with their children each day.

The survey included over 1100 parents and it was discovered that 40% spend less than 1 hour of quality time with their children each day with 73%  saying the main barrier was simply having access to resources.

I am completely in both these groups of people. Due to non child friendly working hours and Olivia being in school sometimes there just isn’t enough hours in the day. In March we were lucky enough to get the chance to review a Weekend Box and I can tell you that they are ideal for parent and child activities and for enjoying much needed quality time together.

Our Weekend Box

To help change these statistics Weekend Box Club have joined forces with the National Trust and Project Wild Thing this Easter to launch a fabulous new website called Pledge One Hour . Here you can find all kinds of fun activities come rain or shine this Easter to help you to Pledge One Hour to enjoy more quality time with your children.

As regular subscribers to the fabulous Weekend Box Club we can highly recommend all activities and their actual boxes and you can be assured that they are fun and easy and children of all ages will enjoy them!

So what’s to lose head over and find out how you too can Pledge One Hour, I have! If you decide that you like the look of the activities and would like to try out a box for yourself feel free to take advantage of a free first box to help you on your way with this discount code: TRACEY4286

Aww this sounds like a cute idea. Crazy to think 40% said they spend less than one hour of quality time but I guess that's just the way life goes.

We love the Weekend Box – we were sent one to review a few months ago and used one of our activities to kickstart a new home ed project. I was really impressed with the contents of the box.
