I’m honestly not sure when this trend started but it has been running for a good few years now. It is showing no sign of stopping or being less popular at all.

When Centime Gifts got in touch recently, I was excited to check out the products they stock. I wasn’t disappointed at all. In fact, I was spoilt for choice! Why I Think the Mother’s Necklace is the Perfect Personalised Jewellery for Mums.

I knew I wanted to buy something for my mum as soon as I saw the personalized Mother Necklaces selection. They were all so pretty. I ordered the Mother’s Necklace with Kids’ Names with 5 rings RRP $79.00 (currently on offer for $63.20). This would be perfect to add on all of our names. I decided that I would add my mum’s name on one ring and then use a ring for each daughter, there are 4 of us. Each grandchild’s name would be added on the same ring as their mum’s name eg Tracey and Olivia on one ring! Cute Right!

I chose the yellow gold option with an 18-inch chain as this is what is closest to the jewellery my mum wears generally. Personally, I loved the idea of the intertwined rings and the fact you can add up to 3 names per ring was perfect for us. I just hoped all the names would fit as one of my nieces has a really long hyphenated first name.

When it arrived I couldn’t believe how good it looked. All the names were spent correctly and fitted perfectly on each of the rings. As expected, and shown on the site the chain is really thin. But this is standard and isn’t an issue for us. If you prefer a thicker chain you can always swap it for a chain you already have. But honestly, I know my mum will love it when she sees it and I can’t wait to give it to her for Christmas, it is the perfect personalised jewellery for mums I think. Especially as it comes with different amounts of rings for different family sizes.

Stackable Name Rings.

These name rings are so cute. I know my eldest niece would absolutely love something like this. So with her 15th birthday coming up, I knew exactly what name to get for her. My issue with the ring is that sizes are from the American chart, however, you can easily look online for a conversion chart if you know your UK size. So I based mine from Olivia’s size to order for E.

The stackable name rings are available in many different styles and designs along with different metals. For E, I chose the Script Custom Name Ring in sterling silver RRP $29 (currently on offer for $23.20). I love how thin and delicate it is. I didn’t want something to thick for her fingers and this sits perfectly flush against the skin. The older girls are allowed to wear one ring for school and this would mean she could wear it without worrying about catching it on anything. Especially important as the letters are different heights and you wouldn’t want it damaged in any way.

Ordering from Centime Gifts.

As you can expect, the items will take a couple of weeks to make up with the personalisation. For UK delivery, you will need to allow a couple of weeks too as they will be shipped from Singapore. But honestly, if you are looking for something a little bit different and with more of a personal touch, they are worth the wait.
