Olivia’s School Disco #OOTD

I have never done an outfit of the day post before, mainly as I don’t own anything remotely fashionable, but Olivia really wanted to do one to show off what she is wearing for her school disco. They have been allowed to go to school in their own clothes today so needless to say she was very excited.

Dress is River Island but we got it from a charity shop for £4.99 and it has become one of her favourites.Sandals are from George at Asda £10, smile and pose (and graffiti) by Olivia (she told me to put this!)
She loves the way it spins out when she twirls around in it, I just think its super cute on her and one of my all time favourite charity shop finds.

Deep in thought

Hairstyle for the day was supposed to be 2 thin plaits joined at the back but I couldn’t get them to look right so I decided that even though I can’t braid I would attempt it! I think for my first real attempt it turned out ok a bit more practise and I should have it I think. The clip was perfect to hide the messier parts too.

  1. You daughter looks beautiful and I hope she enjoyed her school disco! I also can't do plaits, I must borrow my neighbours daughter to practise as my daughter won't sit still! Thank you very much for linking up and we would love to see you back #TT_Thursday

  2. Aw, how cute does she look! I love how excited the kids get and how much effort they put into their school disco outfits. The hair looks lovely. Well done both of you
