And here we go again………….

On Saturday, I decided that I really needed some help with trying to change my diet and get back to exercising. You have seen my posts in the past about my love hate relationship with food and exercising, I hate to exercise but I love the way I feel when I do and I love to eat lots of food and hate the way it makes me fat!

I signed up to Closer Diets who currently have an offer running for 8 weeks for £18 so I thought why the heck not! I mean it’s not like I seem to able to manage it on my own and I cope so much better with someone doing all the work for me and telling me what to eat and when to eat it. This also applies to exercise, specific workouts targeting specific areas ie the dreaded tummy area! So I added on the exercise plan for an extra £1 a week.

I will keep you updated with how I am going and a more indepth post about the actual diet and exercise plan but for now 2 days in I am eating foods I usually would anyway, just smaller portions, staying away from the junk and throwing myself back into the exercises with the aim of losing about a stone in the next 6 weeks (pre birthday diet!) This seems like one I will be able to stick to much more than going it alone or a major diet overhaul eating foods I would never dream of.

I have been able to stick to it and today put back on my running shoes and done 15 mins then finished off with a 12 minute toning session targeting my chosen areas of tum, back and chest. Hopefully this means I will be able to turn from frumpy mummy to yummy mummy before the end of 2014!

Here is how today is looking to give you an idea of the types of foods you can eat and it’s not what I was expecting at all.

Breakfast
Crackers with peanut butter and milk
Early Snack
Ham & tomato sandwich
Lunch
Baked potato with baked beans
Midday Snack
Mixed nuts & raisins
Dinner
Ham & cheese tortilla pizza

good luck with your dieting, im very skeptical with regards to paying for a diet or tablets or powder, or recipes as we can do it ourselves just need more self- organisation, im lacking in a way with this one)

I think that's they key with diets – a change of thinking so that you are happy to make permanent changes to your diet. I struggle with it too
